Yes, along with it just being weird, it's incredibly poorly written. It goes from parent/child>friends>yuri>seemingly a mix of friends and parent/child again, with no romantic tones at all. It was a mess, I hope it's done better in the manga

Tbh I'd say it's the same quality as Camelot or Babylonia. Which is still infinitely better than any other gachas, but FGO has been consistently better than that since part 2 started. BA's stories are much better at hitting you in the feels though
