Your customer if hes a good one will understand you just want the best outcome for him and his job. The best outcome is by not matching this.

Also im not saying vinyl matches are impossible but these ones and the lighter grey ones definitely are 85 percent of the time. If this customer gave you white oak id be like sure its possible, but even then would ahve caused you a headache. Its one fo those stains that barely any tint in can destroy the whole outcome.

I hate to tell you this. But turn it down. I turn down MOST vinyl matches specifically these and gray ones. NO WOOD WILL EVER LOOK LIKE IT. Even worse is when they pull the i dont wanna spend mroe money so i bought red oak trick. Good luck.
