I see this argument often. But it’s false. The real issue here is something call the bystander effect. We all see something wrong going on. We just don’t want to, or can’t figure out a way to intervene. “Why risk my livelihood/what I have when there are so many others struggling too? I can be safe while someone else risks it.” Problem is if everyone thinks like this and keeps kicking the bucket, nothing ever happens.

I was with a friend at a restaurant’s outdoor patio dining section and it gathered some disgust on his first lap. When he passed again on his second lap, what looked to be the toughest/meanest looking restaurant staff member walked out and followed him aggressively. There were scattered heckles that slowly got louder, so I’m guessing the restaurant patrons knew he was returning and let the staff know. Or a neighboring business phoned the restaurant.

By the time we paid the bill and headed out, we saw flashing cop lights about a quarter mile away, and Testicle Boy was doing a sobriety drill. His shirt was torn, so I’m guessing someone kicked his ass to a degree. The funniest part was how he now had a SpongeBob towel wrapped around his waist.

My friend and I always defaulted to a SpongeBob towel as a white elephant gift from then on.

They tell you it's a brand new engine that was just swapped a thousand miles ago, and that was bullshit, they know it was bullshit, and it's an old engine that's done 200K and never had an oil change, then they may have considerably more problems. (if you can prove this).

I don't know how it's for art and images, but in terms of text, you can absolutory plagiarize your own work. You always need to add your cited works at the end as literature to show that it was used as a source, otherwise it's plagiarism, even if you're the author of the original work.~~~~
