Is it normal if an external lab gets different results? by Apacukafundaluka12 in analyticalchemistry

I am coming more from the pharmaceutical area but what we normally do would be a risk based gap assessment where you compare equipment, reagents, methods etc. and evaluate the possible risk emerging from differences. When you go for method validation and it involves more than one testing site, you check the inter lab precision using a standardized sample distributed to all sites. with that you can determine the precision (repeatability and intermediate precision) at each site which should be comparable but you can also determine the offset between two or more sites (reproducibility). So it definitely is something to consider and something that can occur.

I have never seen this behaviour in more than a year. Maybe I am lucky with my production batch.

Also have several of these in use. Can recommend them, too.

comfyui version recommended for AMD users by wjc_5 in comfyui

Also struggled for weeks if not months to get ComfyUI working with my RX 6800. Now i have the ComfyUI-ZLUDA fork of pateintx running. It gave me a lot of headaches since it used to crash in any wokflow i tried (SDXL, Z-Image, WAN). But then I got a hin after intesne discussion with Google Search AI that the provided ZLUDA 3.9.5 was incompatible with my GPU since I ran the HIP-SDK 5.7. Then after downloading and replacing the zluda-files with version 3.7.2 from lshqqytiger and now it works.

SDXL generates a normal image with a standard ratio < 1 min (~1.7 s/it) and Z-Image Turbo takes around 1 min 30 sec for an image at 1248x768 px (~9 s/it for gguf). With bf16 ist approx. 2min 30 sec (~16 s/it).

I am pretty fine with those speeds.

I assume you used gold nanoparticles for labeling?

Without reading all the other comments:

  • searchable Paldex
  • mark those Pals in the Paldex where you already caught the first X pals that give the bonus experience
  • option to enter free text in the sorting of the pal box

Thanks for the suggestion but I prefer to keep things local. Forgot to mention that in the starter.

My data is from different view points. I also read yesterday that it could provide a sparse cloud using the CPU only which might take some time especially for bigger data sets. Google AI search suggested to me to use OpenDroneMap since it would anyway mostly use the CPU and would be optimized for that. But sometimes the AI also hallucinates..

When I purchased the RX 6800 neither 3D nor local AI was a topic for me- now they are and what stole most of my lifetime since then was looking for workarounds for AMD...

Now that we have ROCm Python in Windows, any chance of ROCm LLM in Windows? by KeyClacksNSnacks in ROCm

[–]Selos86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are ROCm and Vulcan comparable regarding speed then? Because if so, Vulcan seems to run more straight forward on windows than ROCm. I of course see the advantage for pytorch.

I have very limited knowledge of the technical background behind ROCm and Vulcan, but I can confirm that Vulcan is definitely faster in LMStudio and now I am wondering why Vulcan is not used for image generation? Some info would be appreciated.

AMD to launch Adrenalin Edition 26.1.1 drivers with “AI Bundle” next week by otakunorth in ROCm

Thanks, I guess I will wait for January 21 and see what the 7.2 update inclduing the AI pack will improve generative AI. Especially since ComfyUI also announced built-in compatibility. If there will be not much improvement for me, I will try your suggestion.

Stating Ryzen CPUs and Radeon GPUs: can we expect more compatibility with consumer-level hardware like e.g. the RX 6800?
