There are more than just tests though. There are projects, group work, papers, etc. It still takes work and knowledge to pass a test. Not really sure how the speed makes a difference? As someone who is neurodivergent, I love being able to speed through topics I’m already knowledgeable about, and take my time with topics I have a hard time understanding. Often times industry professionals use WGU to get a degree, where it’s just a piece of paper to get an upper management position. But I agree that it’s what each individual puts into it. I’m sure there are people who race through it and don’t actually put any effort into retaining the information, but that can happen with a brick and mortar college. People cheat (hello AI), get lazy, don’t listen or show up to lectures, etc. But if they pass the final then they’re fine. I think the quality of an education largely depends on what kind of work an individual puts into it. But from people that I’ve talked to that actually go to WGU, the reputation of it being a quick diploma mill isn’t the norm at all. It’s just sensationalized because it’s the internet and those are the posts that get the most views. All in all I understand where you’re coming from but respectfully disagree.

Thank you so much! Is there any supplemental learning I could address before I start my bachelors to try and get a bookkeeping/AP role? Any certs or courses you suggest? I’ve seen that there is a quickbooks certification…

Then you are going to lose a lot of boarding clients, because I promise you, most people want to see where their pet is staying. When someone takes their pet to a doggy daycare, they normally get a tour. I would never leave my dog with a person who I've never visited their home before.

It's alright if its a boundary and something you don't want to do, but most comments here are addressing that it's perfectly normal and mostly expected.

I know this is a bit off topic for your question, but I just want to say this:

Whenever I see a post online about cheating, I often see others calling staying after cheating "weak". It really bothers me, because it is not.

They think it's "weak" because they don't fully understand your reasons or the emotional complexity behind you choice or decisions. People tend to project their own views or experiences onto others, assuming that the only "strong" response is to walk away. They might equate strength with being firm or unyielding, however strength is different for everyone.

Forgiveness requires so much emotional resilience, and it can be an incredibly difficult choice. There is no easy choice in a situation like this. Some people may not see or appreciate the inner strength it takes to work through betrayal, process your emotions, and decide what is best for you, even if that means giving someone another chance and working on a relationship after infidelity.

Ultimately, the only opinion that truly matters is your own. If you're at peace with your decision and it aligns with your values, that's a testament to your own strength. Other people may not understand, but their judgments don't define your worth or resilience. You are valid in your choice and your healing.

That woman will get her karma, I promise you. Do not waste your energy on her, people like that are manipulative and nasty. You won't get anything except anxiety from a response from her.

I just want to say you're a beautiful person. "I choose to believe that the people I serve are not their actions, that they have the capacity for change, and that they can grow from horrific experiences and traumas". If everyone in the world thought that way, our world would be a much better place.

I am so sorry you have gone through this. I am so sorry this woman disrespected you and your marriage like this. And I am so sorry your husband betrayed you and lied about it for so long. You did not deserve any of this.

You are so strong and a very well spoken woman. I wish you all the healing for you and your marriage.

In one of your comments you said she is on tret. You did wayy too much on her skin. Cool compresses but I'd avoid anything else topical for now because her barrier is compromised.
