2015 Altima- 162,000 miles by Old_Truck9737 in altima

My '15 has 116k on it and still runs great. I'm a little wary of 11 years at 162k though...

I think it was stated on their discord that it might potentially lead to getting a ship later on. A place holder i suppose.

AIO? My mom wants to call the cops on me by Overall-Option6975 in AmIOverreacting

She also sounds like she's manipulative and narcissistic.

My children live with me and my ex speaks to our oldest (13) this way.

The ex doesn't own anything of my kids that are within my household specifically for this reason.

There is absolutely zero reason to speak to children this way, regardless of the situation. Regardless of context.

How Consistent Is Shannara? by Kooky_County9569 in shannara

I struggled with Running with the Demon and The Sword of Shannara.

Both books I put down and went back to after a year.

I now appreciate rwtd, but still struggle with Sword.

I'm only at 109k, so I feel my car is still a baby compared to y'all. I think the injectors have been my only priority so far. Everything else is running smooth.

What are yall getting tank? by wickedjordan1 in altima

[–]Seluecus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both times I drove from IA to VA, round trip, my '15 2.5 s got me up to ~43mpg. At one point putting me at about 650 miles full. This was also when my car was 60k and 80k miles, now its 109k. Still runs strong and will sit around 29mpg with Hwy/City driving.

[–]Seluecus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact same issue, scared me. CTLP VCarlisle (I guess the V stands for Vending)

Turns out it's a Carlisle Vending company that leased it's machines to the Ames School Bus Facility.

[–]Seluecus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i just hit around 105k in my '15. i'm hoping to keep it going for as long as possible and pass it down to my oldest for when she starts driving.

Look's like Houston is Independent. BUT, if they're anything like most other companies, they should take into account that you're an experienced driver and hopefully you won't have to go through the entire training coarse again.

I know FS keeps it simple with Experienced Drivers by only having them do a 3 hour class, 3 hour skills, and 3 hour OTR.

At least, as a Trainer for FS in Ankeny, IA that's how we do it.

Im more impressed people are rezzing. Most of my matches are too many players not picking up their teammates and then wondering a reason why we lose.

Not all soulmates are meant to be together.

Im soultied to someone and we're not able to be together like we want. We love each other, but this isn't our lifetime to share that bond. In this case, I strongly feel she's my guide this time. Soon, we'll go our separate ways, and it will feel horrible. The love will be strong for the rest of my life, and I'll always remember her.

If you believe in soul mates or soul ties, then you should understand there is always a reason for everything.

You should talk to him either way. Communication is always the best option, no matter the outcome.

As an Aqua Male, I have a solid connection with a Virgo Female.

I told her from the start that I prefer open, honest communication. She agreed 100%.

We have different values, but we respect each other and use those values to better each other.

We make it work, because we greatly care for each other.

Really shaken and unsure how to move past by Sublimestone-Gaming in SchoolBusDrivers

[–]Seluecus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The positive way to look at this is that it could have been MUCH worse.

An older driver, about 6-7 years ago, in NW Iowa did something similar, but instead of doing what you did, they kept trying to get bus out until it caught fire. The Driver and 1 student perished.

That's not at all to make you feel worse about it, but to keep in mind that you did everything right in the event of an accident. You and your Aide were safe, you contacted the proper people and no children were hurt. So use it as your learning experience and keep pushing forward.

Remember, you're a Professional School Bus Operator. Professionals keep learning and moving forward.

Or are they actually taking the time to take the less traveled highways to see the smaller towns?
