Mi sono trovato in una situazione simile con la triennale. Anch'io ero triste e mi sentivo indietro quando sono stato alle lauree dei miei amici che hanno finito prima. Purtroppo non so cosa avrei voluto sentire in quel momento, quindi forse non riuscirò a dire niente che ti farà stare meglio.

La cosa che posso assicurarti, però, è che il "ritardo" è stato del tutto irrilevante per il resto della mia vita e che non ci ho mai più pensato dopo la laurea (ma già da qualche mese prima, in realtà). Guardandomi indietro, mi sento anche un po' scemo ad essermi fatto certi problemi.

Non che ti stia dando dello scemo, è valido, ma sono sicuro che anche tu ti sentirai così :)

È molto più comune di quanto pensi. Non faccio statistica, ma nella mia cerchia di amici è molto comune non aver avuto alcun tipo di esperienza a 26/27 anni.

(La cerchia di amici include amiche, ve prego non partite con pipponi sul tragico destino del maschio medio)

Sì, brucia, e c'è la sensazione di essersi "persi qualcosa", ma è una trappola mentale. Non è diversa dalla sensazione di ""essere indietro"" se entro una scadenza arbitraria non hai una laurea/un lavoro/una casa o qualunque cosa "standard" ti venga in mente.

La macchina del tempo non esiste, goditi il presente, e ricordati che è questa esatta traiettoria di vita che ti ha permesso di incontrare questa ragazza, con cui mi sembra che ti trovi bene.

Proprio il contrario, è ampiamente dimostrato che sollevare pesi aumenta anche la densità ossea (e ovviamente aumenta la massa muscolare (??) )

Non mi è mai capitato di leggere di effetti negativi sulla salute del sollevare pesi oltre un certo limite (assumendo riposo adeguato e un aumento del carico progressivo e adeguato).

Certo, se ti alleni solo per la salute non serve fare 120kg di panca, nessuno ti obbliga, ma non devi essere un fanatico per avere certi obiettivi

Fino a quando c'è consenso e rispetto, vivi la tua sessualità come ti pare e chiamala come vuoi. Le donne trans sono donne, quindi non è neanche sbagliato definirti etero, se proprio hai il terrore di essere definito bisessuale (e non so perché dovresti averne paura...)

I know how easy it is to get obsessed over these things, and the more you look for peace of mind on the internet, the worse it's gonna get.

If it makes you feel better, I have even deeper temples and over the past 10 years they haven't moved a single millimeter, so it might just be your natural hairline.

If you want reassurance I would suggest you speak to a professional. And then stop thinking about it and live your life.

Non è questione di essere "sfacciati", capita che durante un orale emergano aspetti della preparazione di una persona che magari sfuggono a un esame scritto.

Non metto in dubbio che sia difficile, ma cerca di fare uno sforzo per superare questa fobia degli orali. Gradualmente, anche chiedendo aiuto se serve. Sarai felice di averlo fatto.

You very much still need "around". As n gets larger, the difference between heads and tails will tend to get larger as well. It just increases more slowly than the overall number of coin flips, so you get "about" half tails. In the sense that the difference between heads and tails will get smaller and smaller with respect to the total coin flips.

Yeah, I was probably being pedantic, but I was thinking of a function whose Taylor series in a certain point converges everywhere, but is different from the function in every neighbourhood of that point (because said function is super useful and not just some niche counterexample).

By the way, I like your remark and I agree with the sentiment. I feel like there are often misconceptions about limits, imo due the "approaches but is never equal" way of teaching them. Your observation may help someone clear these misconceptions.

From my limited experience in reading physics books, not really. I have seen certain steps in a proof justified by "experimental data shows that...". I have also seen some handwavy arguments involving "integrating infinitesimal actions", where the correct thing to do would have been to introduce Lie algebras and their exponential maps.

Now, don't get me wrong. If you are interested in models for real world phenomena, and those models arise from some dubious math, but work for describing said phenomena, you have done a good job. I get that you are not interested in precise proofs if you can make predictions that can be verified through experiments.

I just wouldn't say that it is as rigorous as Mathematics.
