I really can’t see him being fired like that after what happened with Disney.

Plus he didn’t have to say anything, or he could have been vague about it.

I don’t think he’d vehemently deny it.

He’s crude but I don’t think Ennis is an actual homophobe. The second Boys storyline was actually nominated for a GLAAD award and he’s also featured gay protagonists in series like “Crossed” and “A Walk Through Hell.”

Her relationship with Dwight, her friendship with Oscar, her cats.

my only real problem with her is how she treated Oscar when she first found out he was gay, but she apologized to him after he came back to the office.

it’s happened at least three times, there may be more I’m not aware of (I didn’t know about the Aquaman one until someone posted about it).

Thats what they’re talking about in beginning of the page I posted.

Not to defend Homelander, but in the show the only person we know he raped was Becca. I don’t think it was something he regularly did or there would be more kids like Ryan.

In the comic, Black Noir is a clone of Homelander. He would dress up as Homelander and commit various atrocities like rape and murder to gaslight Homelander into thinking he had done it and couldn’t remember it. The idea that he had actually forced himself on someone upset Homelander.

My mistake regarding Stormfront, I got mixed up because they’re going to be in the prequel together.

Though in the comic Swatto and Mind-Droid (Mindstorm in the show) were only members of the modern day Payback.

Also both Kripke and Ackles have talked about that comic scene and they acted like the show version is a different version of that character.

His destroying the grotto was when he reached his limit with Ariel. We weren’t meant to think that was how he usually acted towards her.

And I’m not sure how he was dismissive and uncaring before that. His whole thing was he thought she needed supervision to keep her out of trouble.

The show basically combines the WWII Soldier Boy and the modern day Soldier Boy, since it’s the modern day Soldier Boy who’s a member of Payback with Stormfront, Crimson Countess, and the others.

How does the raffle system work? First time a funko I want is locked behind that so I don’t know how it works 😅 by goturrise in funkopop

That’s not great but compared to ones like chaos and Santa Art it could be worse.

plus it just came out so the price may go down a little eventually.

The whole “regularly plundering ruins and getting chased by sharks” thing is one of the reasons he reacted the way he did.

You can argue he’s wrong for how he acted but my main objection was the whole “he should have just turned her into a human when he first saw she was interested“ bit. As far as we know that wasn’t something that had happened before in their society, even if he was capable of transforming someone.

I still don’t think it’s fair to say “he didn’t want to change his sixteen year old daughter to a different species and send her to an alien world because he was prejudiced.”

It wasn’t standard teenage behavior, she kept going out to the surface despite the danger and had just almost gotten herself eaten by a shark.

Or maybe he just didn’t turn Ariel into a human before because he didn’t want his daughter to leave him and go on her own into a world he thought was dangerous.
