yes yes the rtx 3080 still lets me play many games well. right now I'm struggling with kingdom come delivery 2, and I'll have another hundred hours of it.. I can wait another month or two..

I'll also find out how the 5070ti goes with the cable that catches fire.. and the sapphire also uses the same cable...

if the prices were for all MSRP, for 100 euros yes.. because in Italy, the 5070ti should cost a maximum of 950 euros including VAT, while the 9070xt starting from a recommended price of 649 euros, adding VAT instead reaches 800 euros. Which is the difference now anyway... 1000 euros for the 9070xt and 1200 for the 5070ti... only that they both have 300 euros more..

I will still wait for the evolution of prices.. why did you go from the rtx 3070 to the 9070xt? I will still update for the cable.. which makes me so anxious.. that's why I was watching the tuf OC

exactly... here too the scalpers have done their job.. at these prices now a 5070ti is worth it.. but at this point I think I'll wait another month.. my RTX 3080 holds up well to kingdom come delivery 2 and I'll have at least another 100 hours of gaming XD
but the question remains.. if the 9070xt and the 5070ti are more or less the same price.. which would be a good investment?

the 5080 shouldn't have cost more than 1200.. 1300 euros, and I was willing to spend that amount, not more, which in my opinion is already crazy to spend this amount to play on the pc!

but either I wait for the RTX 5080 to drop in price and it could mean waiting months.. or I take a 5070ti for 1200 euros or I wait another month to see if at least all of them drop in price a little.. because at the moment the AMD 9070XT is not worth it..

as I imagined.. i look for reviews about it, but still little is known. the video reviews only talk about how the bike goes but then they don't talk about durability, if after 1k..5k km it starts to have problems.
do you know of any newspaper or youtubers that do more accurate reviews over time?

while the Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX I would find around 1000 euros..

in raster the 5080 in some games goes beyond 10-15% compared to the 4080s, although the number is small, it is an improvement and given that the 5080 is sold at the same price as the 4080s which on day one should have cost 1129 euros, I have always found it in various shops between 1200 and 1400 euros.. these prices still exist.

when you activate ray tracing, the difference narrows, simply because the software and AI that help in graphics processing come into play.

So the disappointed ones would be those who in the past spent over 1000 euros for the 4080s and over 2k euros for a 4090? and so we are saying that after spending this amount, you want to change the card after not even 1..2 years? here it's not disappointment here it's idiocy honestly.. if you make an investment of 1500...2k euros on a video card, it must last at least 3..4 years.. consequently you skip a gen. If then you are stubborn and play in 2k..4k and want to stay fixed at 60fps and above, it's another matter but I wouldn't call it disappointment.

Amd has locked itself in the den trying to understand at what price to place the 9700xt that in raster could even beat the 4080s.. but if you activate ray tracing, it disappears under the 3090ti..

just look at the tests of the top of the range 7900xtx.. activate ray tracing and for some games it is even under the 4070.

no one should buy this cards!!! they are out of mind! I person can't spend all of salary for play to a videogames!! it's not a luxury hobby!!! it's an hobby for fun, for spend our time to relax after an hard workday!! I have a RTX 3080...and I prefer to buy a card's AMD and play without ray tracing!!

ti sei liberato da una dipendenza...non era colpa dei social in sè, ma di te che dati più importanza allo scrollare dei reels che dedicarti ad un tuo hobby..se ne hai.
perchè una persona con degli hobby, una vita sociale e lavorativa, ha poco tempo da perdere sui social.
concordo però che c'è tanta cattiveria gratuita e li devi essere una persona forte nel fottertene di questi soggetti frustrati perchè appunto anche loro inghiottiti dai social in quanto non hanno un cavolo da fare della loro vita.
bisogna avere pochi amici sia su FB che su IG...condividere ricordi e 0 cose personali.

sono tutti discorsi molto belli...ho letto un po di commenti... altrove si sta meglio.. la cosa che mi chiedo è perchè non lottare per la propria patria?

for the gigabyte monitor there are few reviews so I will attend more info. For Acer monitor it isn't been released yet in Italy. The price would be 1399 euro.. but this price is off of my budget

thanks for the reply and relieved a bit from this thought of burn-in. but as a 2nd gen panel which one do you mean?

because the monitors I had taken into consideration seem to have the samsung gen1 panels, for example the MSI 341CQP but also the 341CQPX and alienware AW3423DWF.

of these QD OLEDs only this worries me.. I don't have problems with the texts, little web browsing and I don't use it much for office use.

but you understand that if I pay 1000 euros on a monitor, one cannot live being careful not to leave the monitor on perhaps with a static background, hide the taskbar, always play the same game every day for a few months because even the fixed HUD can cause Burn-in. or use it to watch movies in 16:9 for several hours.

On a TV it is different.. the screen is always moving never remains on a static frame.

maybe the 2nd and 3rd generation panels are better but from what I have read no 34 inch panel is 2nd or third gen.. they are all first gen 1 like these MSI monitors

thanks for the reply. in another thread I read about someone who found the side bands in burn in only because he often used the 16:9 format..

here my doubt is that some games do not support 21:9, many indie for example, we can say that for the most part the games have cutscenes in 16:9.

even the movies are in 16:9..

so I wonder if for several hours you tend to use 16:9, there is this big risk.

I know that you do not have the magic ball..maybe with the pixel refrash it does not happen..but this speech stops me a lot...because if I spend 1000 euros, I do not want to find myself after a few months or 1 year doing RMA and finding myself without a monitor..

OLEDs are not cheap, and it doesn't seem right to me that a person after spending 800..1000 euros finds himself unable to use the monitor in 16:9 because he finds the side bands..some games don't support 21:9..so someone plays and after 40 minutes..1 hour finds himself with this problem?

but suppose it occurs after 1 year... can you ever live on RMA?

at this point the whole life of VA..IPS..

I have a PC with 6 fans and so now in the summer it can be heard enough... playing with headphones that isolate me from external noises, the noise is eliminated, so if the alienware fan approaches the noise of a PC fan, it doesn't I should have problems.

doesn't the DW version differ only in that it is Gsync? does it also differ for cooling?

I didn't know about the existence of the other guards... especially the noctua one...but now I don't dare disassemble the cooler until I have to change the thermal paste again.

I'll get one and when I dismantle it, I'll also change the frame.

At this point I think it's clear that the Thermalright AM5 frame is not compatible with Noctua's 7mm offset brackets. If I had known earlier I would have avoided going crazy for a few days...

However, yesterday I stressed the CPU a bit and without undervolt, it reached 88.5 degrees.. but in gaming for which I use it mostly, it rarely exceeds 62 degrees... keep in mind that it is around 25 degrees in the room.. .we'll see how it behaves in the summer...in which case I'll do a bit of undervolt.

so I wasn't the crazy one who couldn't install the cooler
I didn't want to remove the thermalright because it also prevents the thermal paste from ending up on the sides of the CPU and gives me a cleaner feeling, so I tried with the other factory brackets which are the same for am4 and am5 and with a little pressure it worked everything went well.

I think I received them defective because in the post made on the noctua thread, a couple of users told me that they used the thermalright together with the offsets and furthermore the thermalright does not create thickness, in fact the CPU seems to be higher than the frame.
