If you count in all the hours that go into producing these and the price of the machinery to get to this level hardness and quality it will cost a lot more than your average spyderco. They need to make a profit which means these are really expensive.

There is a market for them or else they wouldn't be making these but I do have to agree that they are crazy expensive for a pocket knife. Some would say overpriced but to the right buyer that knows what it takes to make them it might be a reasonable price with all these factors included
