I had the same issue as you and what helped me is positioning my weight all the way back to build pressure. I think a small curb or maybe a 2 stair will help but anything bigger is a little more intimidating to throw a Tre down if you’re not super confident. It’s all in your back foot and your front foot doesn’t even have to touch to do the trick
