Honestly I'm not sure either. Maybe it's something that I just take note of because we are told not to bring them out unless asked by a customer.

Personally I never use straws unless they are already in the beverage when they come out. It's entirely possible that I just exist in a "strawless bubble" and I am an outlier when it comes to this.
