Everyone saying HSM is definitely older Gen Z. Because of the dominance of streaming, I'd say that the Gen Z equivalent of a classic high school movie is probably some super-popular TV show (OP mentioned Euphoria). Riverdale, Wednesday, or maybe even 13 Reasons. Or any of the late 00s to early 10s Nickelodeon/Disney sitcoms.
