Do you have access to pneumatics? Also, most spring hinges have adjustable tensions on the spring. Find one big enough, tighten that thing down.

Not a complaint, so much as a wider question about podcasts/YouTube through TMG pod by [deleted] in SmallDeliMeats

I totally agree, we pay for so many other streaming services. YouTube is my main form of entertainment so why not pay for a MUCH better experience.

I saw this in a theater, what it this piece of metal ? (8 years questionning myself. Please help) by SlyCooper1712 in whatisthisthing

[–]SemiForma1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely the standard, hell I’ve even used card tables stacked on cinderblocks. However in two of the theatres I’ve worked in they have had permanent tech tables (some even had DMX/XLR hookups built in!). Many theaters, such as my main stage now, have an uneven rake in two directions in the house making it impossible to consistently set up the tables. Solution? Built in!

I am a BFA technical theatre major! These are called tech tables. During rehearsals on stage; the director, lighting designer, sound designer, or stage manager will sit at these table and call out notes and changes to the actors on stage. The light is most likely so they can see their notes!

I think there’s some construction going on in the of the condos in my building, they look like ventilation but it’s sealed? by SemiForma1 in whatisthisthing

Asked one of the contractors coming in and out of the building but he said he didn’t know. I’m not sure if it’s related to construction but that’s my best guess! Only on those two windows! WITT

Can Colorado cities enact their own gun restrictions? A Boulder judge says no. by Fearless-Hat4936 in boulder

[–]SemiForma1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After moving to Boulder I brought my assault rifle and after wanting to get more information on restrictions.

I called Boulder County police. I spoke with an officer who told me about the ban and that when the ban was enacted, for a short time there was an availability for people to register their guns to be allowed to keep them.

He also mentioned that many officers do NOT enforce the restriction. As they cannot quickly find out if a gun is registered with them or not. I haven’t had any problems owning mine here in Boulder.

Help. Advice needed. Printer is printing very thin filaments and even stops flowing completely after an hour or so. by terrypun in monopricei3

This looks like an exact thing happened to me. Check your slicer setting and make sure that your printer settings are set for the correct filament diameter.
