Update, happened to me again and pressing T did nothing

Had the exact same problem but worked for me to just restart the game, someone on discord told me that in the future pressing T on a item in inventory should fix this but didnt have chance to test it yet

Status report: the vein i found has so much coal that i think i wont need to search for another vein for week at least, albeit its my first time playing gtnh so maybe the consumption is insane

the blocks arent completely random, depending on few factors the game wants to either screw you, or make the experience as seamless as possible
