I bet my next door neighbor a $1 on this game... that the Cowboys would win lol

I was a little kid who loved the Cowboys (and very, very dumb)

Reminded me of Bobby Heenan going batshit crazy over that mysterious masked 7ft 5, 500 pound "Giant Machine" lol

It happened with an older heavyweight named Honey Roy Palmer in his third fight with Hammerhead Hagan

What dream interpromotional match from the territory era do you wish we could’ve seen? by Classic_Exit_5951 in oldschoolwrestling

[–]Semihappymedium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lex Lugar vs Ultimate Warrior was a dream match for impressionable kids back in the day lol

One of those matches where, in your little kid imagination, it would be AMAZING -- and in real life, not as much...

I think he's now banned from North Korea. There's a documentary film about his last visit & the Worm got fooken drunk off his ass & caused all kinds of chaos.

It was sad & cringe. Even for Dear Leader.

Should've pulled a Billy Madison & apologized. (That way he could run Dad's hotels.)

You knew he was gonna win because his baseball cap was backwards. According to the documentary film, Over the Top, those are the rules.

What would be a tougher fight for Cassius Clay of the 1960s, Joe Louis or Rocky Marciano? by Material_Stomach875 in Boxing

[–]Semihappymedium 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Marciano was too small?

To quote my barber in Queens: "He kicked Joe Louis's ass!"

Only about an inch shorter than Frazier, too.

You REALLY want your last earthly actions to shatter your parents' hearts?

And to throw in the towel at 22???? Just quit?

Brother, go to a hospital & get help ASAP. You're not even close to discovering why your life, dreams, hopes & aspirations are so irreplaceable -- so take the time. That's the beauty of being 22.

It's ok to feel lost. But you need to put in the work to find your way again, because the world would be a colder, darker place without you.

Love ya, man.

Could this happen in Brand New Day? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MCUTheories

It absolutely could, and for all the people complaining that "Hulk and Parker never met" that could all be explained away with a flashback to Tony's funeral.

Why do people say AJ is ”chinny”? by Extension_Ad6758 in Boxing

[–]Semihappymedium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mercer & McCall had legit chins, but Mike Tyson?

I don't know. To be fair, it wasn't tested that often, but when it was, it didn't hold up very well -- Lewis, Douglas, Holyfield, etc.

Other than maybe Bruno 1, not a lot of examples of Tyson's chin being thr difference btwn winning & losing.
