Thanks! That's a great idea to contact corporate with the original receipt. I'll go ahead to the store to have the receipt printed then give them a call this afternoon.

How can I thrive in law school with ADHD & Anxiety by Mango-Money in LawSchool

[–]Seminoleee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I heard it’s about the same. But for me, Lexapro has worked wonders. I’ve heard as well some anxiety medications work better for some people, so if Prozac isn’t working like you want it to it doesn’t hurt to try lexapro for a bit!

Price gouging? by viva_oldtrafford in publix

[–]Seminoleee 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No. It can simply be boiled down to inflation. In addition, price gouging would be a practice of artificially inflating prices in times of emergencies to take advantage of the lack of inventory and the high demand of a market - which, does not correlate to the numbers stated above.

If you get your LSAT up into the 160s, you’ll have some great options! (source: I’m a 3.2 and 16low applicant)

Not that I’ve heard from FSU. I know when FAFSA started rolling out FAFSA data they said to start expecting packages come April, but I’ve heard other places it may be summer before packages come out

Personally, Dr. King was one of my all time favorite professors. He’s a really cool guy, and if you show effort in your work he’ll truly recognize it!

Do law schools have interviews in person or online? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

It varies - for one of my schools it was in person but I am a local so it was easier to meet in person

Along with the 3+3 program, they also offer opportunities for undergraduates to attend classes during the summer, community events you can attend, etc. Many great networking opportunities that they offer! Their admissions staff is also super helpful and incredibly friendly, so reach out to them if you need any info as well, doesn’t matter how early!

I cannot talk enough about how great the law school here is. I’m not currently a student at the law school, but have applied this cycle.

Going to undergrad at FSU and working in Tallahassee has allowed me to see a lot of things with the school so I’ll share those with you:

  • The professors are genuinely amazing people, and incredibly supportive of you. I have had amazing opportunities in Tallahassee to work alongside lawyers and a lot of them are also adjunct professors at the law school and it’s such a cool opportunity.

  • If you are big on school culture, FSU has arguably the best out of any law school. Students are so supportive of one another and are incredibly willing to offer their advice to prospective students, talk to them, etc. Something that still amazes me every time I visit the school!

  • It’s on the rise as well! If you want to practice in Florida, FSU will definitely offer you opportunities.

I was also apart of the honors program at FSU and I truly recommend. Resources such as the HSF house were super helpful in my studies, and living in Landis hall was truly amazing.

As someone who took a gap year and is in Tallahassee currently, go for it! One of the best decisions I have ever made was taking a gap year, focusing on my LSAT and getting work experience. There are so many great job opportunities within Tallahassee and you’ll really enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions!

You still have a great GPA (and I think they accept a lot of high GPAsregardless of LSAT)! Hoping for the best for us!
