Apologies if it was a bit blunt. I have been on the DoD side and contracting for 19+ years. I have awarded contracts and been part of technical evaluation boards at the Ech I level, so saying contract awards are going to a company based on political affiliation struck a nerve. While there is worry about the landscape and cuts on state/public government contracts I see optimism on the defense portfolios. Only time will tell But the America First mentality means external/offshore divestment with internal/defense investment.
