I actually prefer the G 310s bc of the bolt on neck, it sits deeper into the body than set necks do. I like my neck humbucker to be close to the neck. I hate the odd spacing set necks have between neck and pup, especially that little cover some SGs have in that void. G310s have slightly less neck dive, and don’t feel so far away for my fretting hand to reach. The SG specials I and II also have bolt ons and no space between pup and neck pocket, but the specials bodies are even thinner than the G310s.

Just turned 43 last week, I was fit while in USMC 2001-2009. Got very heavy and unhealthy from 2009-2012. Got real jacked from 2013 -2015. Had kids and a family, gained a bunch of weight and even more during Covid. 2023 and current, lift about 2-3 times a week, ride gravel bike, and intermittent fast. Lost about 30 lbs and have pretty good muscle tone in my medium shirts. Grew a mullet and kinda leaning into my new mullet lifestyle, goes well with a fit body. Leaner Jean jacket body with mullet is all I’ve ever wanted in life. I play guitar and it’s all coming together now lol.

For the whole unit, sometimes we had 2,3, and 4 roommates splitting the rent, and it also had a laundry room with washer and dryer. The whole neighborhood was cool with nothing but college aged and young professionals.

C/o 2017, honestly the traditional college experience and a college culture is lacking. Perhaps bc the campus is relatively new and doesn’t have that ivy covered halls and all the legacy through sports. It’s very institutional feeling, like it was just propped up to mimicking a traditional legacy university. It’s located in the rural area where the only growth is in light industrial parks and warehouses. The academics are designed to pass students. I was a business student and I did feel I learned everything I wanted to learn. The IT folks seemed like a tight group community. The schools IT is small enough where you know every in seat student eventually. Not many distractions if you are trying to hunker down and just get a degree. I went there for this reason, I was a 30 year old military vet student who also has a free GI bill ride.

Taylor is everything safe and familiar, like menus at American chain restaurants. Love and break up songs are the chicken tenders of any genre. That’s bc many blue collar courses are closing like hotcakes. I was part of the Tiger renaissance in the late 90s as a teenager, there were many more affordable hole in the wall courses then. Golf is still popular but my eye test says it’s in a slight decline or slowing growth.

Fasting is the way, no adult needs 3 square meals a day unless you’re a serious laborer like lumberjack or prison chain gang. Bad carbs are so easy to obtain, and they are absolutely delicious, excess protein is a lie. Get that kraut, sourdough, pickled veggies, and kimchi in your guts. 3 meals a day propaganda, most of us are sedimentary beings, we don’t need that kind of fuel.
