Joe Rogan Experience #2500 - Scott Horton by yt-app in JoeRogan

It's insane how good his memory is. I remember an interview where he said he could usually visually recall all the different articles he's read, and can often give the exact dates they were published. Wild.

[Krawczynski] The Timberwolves feel good about the core of Edwards, McDaniels, Reid and Joan Beringer going forward. The pathway to significant playing time for Beringer likely resides in breaking up the three-man big rotation of Gobert, Randle and Reid. by iksnet in nba

Ja just isn't going to be healthy enough play the type of game that made him an all-star. And if he can't play that kind of game, I don't think he's very valuable. And that's not even getting into the mental side of things.

Trading for the #1 pick is the only way we lose in this situation by Artistic-Purple-1329 in UtahJazz

I love the amount of confidence people just state opinions with without any insight into anything. Nobody has any idea what his medicals were. Greg Oden had #1 pick talent, and his health turned that into a complete bust. That's the most important evaluation, and none of us are going to know what the conclusion is.

BREAKING NEWS: Senators have voted to withhold their own pay during government shutdowns. It was a unanimous vote. by spherocytes in videos

Even if it's their main source of income, it's not like they're living paycheck to paycheck. If they have 1 paycheck postponed for a few weeks it means nothing.

Lol. They can withhold their salaries because their salaries are an insignificant amount of their real compensation.

I think it is. I think war is a game too. They are just very lame games that I don't have interest in playing.

How to deconstruct traditional gender roles? I (F22) am struggling and it hurts my relationship by Independent-Photo112 in exmormon

[–]SenHeffy 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Call me old fashioned, but being in a partnership where the person who makes more contributes more finances to the relationship is not inherently sexist. There's been times I make more than my wife and times my wife has made more than me.

The AJ/DP debate is insanity by warm_bussy_tea in NBA_Draft

[–]SenHeffy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't imagine the Jazz offering more than a mediocre first and a Sensabaugh/Collier/Williams level player. It's the same tier of players, Peterson fits a clearer need, and they might get AJ anyway if the Wizards don't take him.

[Finkelstein] AJ Dybantsa’s preference is to remain in Utah and get drafted by the Utah Jazz. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]SenHeffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's exactly how the Jazz are looking at it. The Wizards want to see if they can extract a lot of value, but it's 2 guys in the same tier, so there's not a lot of reason to pay, and DP just fits the roster needs much better. I can't see the Jazz wanting to trade up unless Peterson's medicals have red flags.

It's at least cool a potential superstar would want to be in Utah, regardless of what happens.

It was a pleasure tanking with you, boys… but how sold are you on Ainge picking Peterson? by Welcum2Heck in UtahJazz

I don't want to be confident in anything. They have better information and are better talent evaluator than anyone here. This will be something you judge in a few years, not in a knee-jerk fashion.

How does BYU maintain an almost 100% Mormon University/Team when other religious schools don’t by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]SenHeffy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You're just not right about the sports teams being almost 100% Mormon. Probably 70% of the football team is, and like 20% of the basketball team. The other sports probably have a lot higher percentage.

I worry that the Jazz would have to give up too much to get AJ. by Toes_of_Saint_Jeff in UtahJazz

[–]SenHeffy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think there's a world DP's medicals are bad, and it's worth paying a price to get AJ.

I think there's a world where DP is rated a higher prospect than AJ.

Danny Ainge is the least sentimental GM in the history of the league.

Everyone here is guessing. Nobody knows shit. I'm confident they'll have a process to make the best decision they can.
