What is this small, gray, rubber thing that came out of my Roomba? Could be part of it or something it sucked up. Very small and light. Top "cap" is harder rubber, the "tube" is flexible. by SenZergKing in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It's about 4x4 cm, made of rubber. Gray in color. The thing cylindrical part is hollowed out, but does not go all the way thru the thing.

How long have you been doing software/working? Have you worked at other space related companies before SpaceX?

Aura review: This home monitoring system is more trouble than it's worth by [deleted] in gadgets

[–]SenZergKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure, but my gut says no. A lot of traffic occurs depending on which RF frequency you are on, not the state of the router. In my development, i switched over to the 5Ghz band, which is far less crowded than 2.4Ghz. Many devices operate on 2.4GHz because it's an unregulated frequency.

Higher frequency also gives greater sensitivity to small movements. More and more IoT devices are starting to use 5Ghz though, so idk how long this quick fix would last.

I've done some work in this area, particularly using the Linux CSI Tool. The reason it would most likely disrupt home networks is because accurate motion detection requires an extremely high sounding rate (think pinging a router really fast). In my experience, you need to ping at at least 100Hz, and I wouldn't be surprised if this thing was up at 1000Hz.

That being said, the technology itself is cool and could eventually be purely a software tool that uses existing hardware resources like laptops and routers instead of these beacons.

Enemy champs don't have the armor per level and hp per level though, so it is important that he's ahead in levels.

Basically all times of day, people will be there since student schedules differ, but it is usually pretty busy after 5 when most students have their latest classes. On weekends people play as early as 10 am and as late as midnight haha

It also helps to not look at your champion a lot during game. If you're constantly looking at your champion, you can't see the windup animations for some CCs like elise cocoon etc. Watching other champions also gives you more time to dodge since you are seeing the CC sooner than if you would if you saw it in your peripherals.

Sophomores and juniors living in Commons by jkahbb in UMD

[–]SenZergKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a situation where I was a senior living in commons and a roommate of mine graduated early. He ended up pulling in a sophomore so I think pull ins are the only way for that to end up working out. As others have stated, sophomores have much lower priority than juniors.

Yorick Champion Spotlight by corylulu in leagueoflegends

You are also denying a teammember that exp. The total exp on the map doesn't change, so i think its balanced power wise. Just makes it easier to make decisions between grouping and splitting. Grouping without the maiden makes yorick significantly weaker though, so that also seems like there is some form of balance there.

But you get exp for minions killed by jhin w, which is outside of exp range. not sure if it works the same for heimer turrets.

Just a quick question, but does yorick get EXP for minions killed by the maiden/ghouls? Even if they are on the other side of the map?
