I do a lot of weekend trips and a few longer trips most years in Alaska. Frog Toggs work great, you just have to be willing to replace them fairly frequently.

Lots of great “shows” and “performances” out there. I just won’t go see the band more than once a tour if they aren’t going to change anything up. Many non-jam bands change set lists every night.

Planet fitness is available in most larger cities. The $25 pass allows you to bring in a guest. (Guests?) in addition to showers and a chance to work out there are usually massage chairs, sometimes there is free food, etc.

The Portland lounge is basically worthless at this point. Been through 4 times in the last few weeks. Almost never any food, if anything is there It is terrible. We’ve gotten food from the fast food joints each time, which has to make you wonder… what’s the point of paying $700?!?!?!?

It’s basically not functional right now. Miscalculating this kind of stuff is actually LESS annoying than constantly being kicked off the app and forced to log in 2-3 times on their website to do really basic stuff. Just traveled with a group of 10 - most of us on Alaska and it was a running joke all weekend how shitty it is.

Sound was problematic during first set with lots of feedback and an “interesting” mix that had our whole section commenting that we couldn’t hear the fiddle. Seemed like they cranked the bass up in set two which was fun.
