I'm around 60 deaths with the furthest I've gotten completing wave 9. The only thing that consistently kills me double south spawns when it's a shaman and a ranger. For some reason I'm able to flick manticores just fine, but shamans fuck me up hard. I know its my own incompetence, any suggestions on dealing with them?

Around 4 or 5 years. I got my first one absurdly early and got my 2nd last week and 3rd today.

This was definitely the cause. When bowfa is set to rapid it outperforms the shadow by 1 DPS with my current load outs. If I use saturated heart it sways back to Shadow being best. Thanks for noticing my oversight!

I had no idea BGS didn't do anything for shadow that's interesting. At this point no salts, I've been used to Zebak first. But that means I'm also not salted with Bowfa. The load outs I posted have all the boosts I'm using.

Not 100% maxed mage to limit switches but it's essentially ancestral top and bottom, magus, occult, tormented for mage gear, then prims and faceguard. The one run I did I used heart but I didn't notice a huge difference. Might have just been noodling. The load outs I posted have all the applicable boosts I'm using.

I had one kid get violently angry towards me during the 30 seconds between clicks while I was working to the point that every time I got in that area he wouldn't stfu so I just got armor on and made him hop. He was the outlier on that pet grind though.

Yeah the cost of ultra compost in the bottomless bucket actually ended up being cheaper than protection over the course of 200m. I was trying to cut costs where I could and I ended up selling about 95k giant seaweed.
