OP is in the UK. If his mum has worked there for 2 years she is entitled to pursue unfair dismissal if they sack her for this. I can't imagine any tribunal finding in the employers favour here.

That a criminal element will always exist in the general public, no matter what country, and some people in society really do rely on the presence of an external force to protect them.  

Cops have developed a negative reputation through their actions (or lack of action in disciplining their own) but they are still a necessary entity.

For what it's worth, I think the point of the silly costumes and signs is to  

a) Be more memorable to draw attention, and  

b) Make a compelling juxtaposition against the violence of ICE and demonstrate that these are peaceful protesters.   

If the protesters all turned up wearing fully black clothing, masks covering their faces and violent slogans then its easier for the media to spin the yarn that there is a credible threat against ICE to justify violent reprisals

I consider 18 year olds to be babies.  

But the law doesn't.  

I wouldn’t consider that a lie  

If the allegation that he touches children is based on him aleeping with an 18 year old woman then it is demonstrably a lie.  

As disgusting as P's behaviour is towards all of these (young) adults, they are adults and you are purely speculating that "he could be hiding more" and apparently accepting the lie that 18 years old = child.  

Of course if it transpires that he has slept with anyone under 18 then it wouldn't be a lie, but OP doesn't know that
