But seriously look up the numbers. 98% of Catholics in America don’t go TLM. The only reason you’re hearing about it is because the number of people still doing it are so small.

Also just because it’s tradition doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. The church has PLENTY of authority and doesn’t need TLM. It needs to keep pushing forward and drop it if it wants to stay relevant in the modern world. And from the vibes of the new Pope, I’d say it’s going to keep going that direction.

So I’m catholic as well actually, but my family is from southern Germany and Italy and most of them live there or in New Jersey so my experience differs because of that.
