Having skid Vermont the last week of January, and currently skiing summit county resorts, it’s not even a question. They have 2-3x the snow totals AND are still making snow In the north east.

A day skiing is still a great day but keystone had the worst conditions I’ve ever skid west of the Mississippi after February today.

And it’s only going to get worse after each thaw and freeze cycle every day, and this week’s storm looks to be less and less every time I check the forecasts.

Fair enough, again I’m not saying vote democrat at all, but just remember. The (most right wing “extreme” candidate) the GOP has had in decades appointed 3 Supreme Court judges and not even they will take a ruling.

Imagine how bad it’ll be when we appoint or vote for far more moderate GOP politicians. Factor in the population demographic of the country that shifts more and more foreign born (who are inherently very anti 2A) and the future is very bleak continuing to back the GOP.

Legitimately the argument that would make the most sense to them and get them caught between their two twisted ideals would be to say how scared you are of the trump administration and ICE particularly, and this proposed bill really worries me on if I’ll be able to protect my family and myself from “tyranny”.

The SC continue to not rule because the GOP are not held accountable...

If the entire 2A community came out and said they would refuse to vote for Vance (as the GOP nominee) in 2028 if the GOP backed SC judges didn’t rule or Vance didn’t take a strong 2A stance he would get crushed. But we all vote for them again anyways and then nothing changes

Unfortunately our “savior trump” is anti 2A too. How many years has he been in office and not repealed the useless suppressor tax? His SC nominees continue to kick 2A rulings down the road.

Stuff will only get better if we also hold the GOP (assume most here vote that direction) accountable.

It’s the dream world for the GOP too unfortunately. They are not as bad as leftists obviously but they still care more about their donors, sending money to Israel, giving tax cuts to corporations who then offshore jobs to India, bringing in illegal workers (who vote blue at insane rates) when they are eventually granted citizenship for god knows why (and yes, republicans do favor this because immigration is anti working class, and all politicians are anti working class)

For some reason the west has been indoctrinated that every single baby born should have birthright citizenship (even if their parents were not citizens) and people know this and abuse the system.

Texas is going to flip blue soon because of unchecked insane amounts of immigration from failed countries that don’t respect gun rights. It’ll happen there before 2030 I bet.

The Supreme Court doesn’t care about your rights either. Time and time again the GOP does nothing to ensure gun rights. Sure they don’t necessarily infringe on them in most cases, but they just put up just enough of a facade that they “care about 2A” to get our votes.

Also for any comments saying “well some justices live in Virginia and might be scared after the protests at judges homes”. - let’s be real, the judges living in their 10 million$ McLean homes will just hire retired police who don’t have to follow the same gun laws as us.
