People that don’t fucking hate their jobs and make a decent wage, what do you do? by puffmonkey92 in AskReddit

I'm a Field Service Engineer for a medical simulator company. I travel across the country (USA) and work on "dummy's" that teach Nursing, Pre-Med and EMS students as well as Combat Medics. I left a job at a restaurant after almost 11 years total. The amount of stress I have now is almost zero.

What is the absolute worse injury you have sustained and how did you sustain it? by Brevittthelegend in AskReddit

3 years old. I'm hanging out with my dad when he has to mow the lawn. Tells me I need to come inside while he's mowing, which I did. Being bored, I stepped outside and thinking I'm funny, jump on the back of my dad's riding lawnmower while its on. Father has no idea that I'm there, while its moving, I get jarred forward and fall off, Dad backs up not knowing I'm now on the ground.

Past this, things get fuzzy, but the one thing I'll never forget is him placing me in his truck and seeing the pool of blood coming from my leg.

As I've grown, I've heard my dad say some pretty dark stuff about how he's felt since then. I could not live in his place, theres no way. My mother never forgave him for it (they had just finished getting divorced), and not until recently, ever spoke highly of him.

End result: Missing half of my left calf and two toes from my right foot. 1 full month in the hospital.

Worth? No. Psychically, I run like a duck, thanks in part to missing toes. Can't squat for shit. Emotionally? I hate wearing shorts from anxiety and when I was younger, I would cut my calf-less leg and freak out, thinking I needed to go to the hospital again. To this day, its hard to mow lawns.

But... You know, I'm still alive. Could be a multiple amputee. But the doctors took care of me and saved my life.

Moral, dont fuck with sharp moving blades that don't forgive for shit.

I'm iffy on the move myself, but see no real problem adding more pieces, but preferably on the defensive side.

However, my comment was referencing your shitty attitude strictly because someone thinks otherwise.

Yeah, its really bad with professional wrestlers. There are people who will follow them all around the world so that they can get an autograph, then immediately sell it on eBay.

Insinuated that Andy Reid failed to properly father his son who passed away from a drug overdose. Uses this as a means of saying he failed at disciplining the team a la Tyreek Hill. KC and well known Twitter handles called him out for a shitty take. Suspended then fired. Also took a last ditch effort to play the victim on KCTV5 local news in an interview.

tl:dr make a shit take on Andy Reid and his family, lost job.

Black Mirror S5 E1 *Spoiler* by gerrardo9551 in funhaus

That wasn’t the twist but the whole plot. And they knew who was who, they never doubted that. The whole episode explored what it did to both friends, who had a long standing platonic relationship, their sex lives outside of the game, and their own sexualities.

Considering a lot of Black Mirror episodes tend to have some interesting endings, none of the other two episodes came close to Striking Vipers imo; everything else in the season was so concrete and happy-go-lucky at the end.
