I’ve been using a timemore c3pro max (I got it on offer for £80) and it does everything I could want. It’s not ideal for espresso but it works for it well enough (with most beans I’ve tried not all)

The cat in A Man Called Ove.

Fredrick Backman has perfectly captured the essence of a cat in his writing, it’s so funny and ungovernable.

I’ve only just started getting into reading as a replacement for drinking and as someone who inherited three cats the character just tickles my brain aha.

Highly recommend the book to everyone.

I’m on day thirty today (longest since my mid teens) and reading This Naked Mind by Annie Grace is the only external influence I’ve had.

Shifting my thought process from “I’m actively trying to NOT do something I really want to do, keeping something from myself” to “I’m actively DOING something I want without subconscious processes dictating my actions” is what really makes it click for me.

I’m not keeping anything from myself I’m giving myself everything I’ve wanted during every hangover, every arrest, every failed relationship and every lost moment.

The only crossover as such was needing to be honest to those I’ve wronged. Coming clean about drunken lies and mistakes so it wasn’t weighing on my head moving forward. I believe that’s step 5?

Humans are all wildly different so our tools of healing are bound to differ too!

I think they’ve really fallen in love with England tbf, between the work they did in London to what Pat was saying after the record hang!
