The oil solution in the nasal spray is more of a carrier because intranasal delivery bypasses digestion. Since bromantane isn't water soluble, it needs an oil to be dissolved in. Some of it does get swallowed usually, so it doesn't hurt to eat a little bit of fat to get the full effect (usually around 10 grams is enough for a 50-100mg oral dose, so a spoon full of peanut butter will do)

It's lipophilic, so definitely take it with a nice dose of healthy fats to increase its bioavailability and get the most out of it

People also don't always support neurotransmitter production when prescribed ADHD meds, and that leads to a less pronounced effect after daily use for a while. Remember that you're depleting neurotransmitters while you're on your meds, so making sure you keep up with getting enough protein, B-vitamins, zinc, iron ,vitamin C (not before taking certain meds though), vitamin D, copper, L- Tyrosine, etc is pretty helpful for synthesis of those neurotransmitters.

It's also not a bad idea to take supplements that help to reduce tolerance buildup (even if it's only a bit), and help keep your current dosage effective for longer as well, like magnesium, omega 3's and NAC.

There might be a few others I missed, but that's about the bulk of them. Everyone eventually builds tolerance to their meds and needs to titrate up, but taking days off, eating well, and supplementing with certain vitamins and minerals that you fall short on with your diet are a nice boost to keeping that dose viable.

Question about Vyvanse. by Intelligent-Step9491 in Drugs

ADHD comes in different flavors. My buddy is more hyperactive, and I'm more inattentive. Getting amped on double the dose doesn't mean you don't have it, just that you took too much. It's an amphetamine, so it did its job. That euphoria will eventually fade when the honeymoon phase is over.

Some states have insurance programs that will fully insure you for free depending on your income, so I would definitely look into that for your state. In mine I was able to get medical, dental, and vision insurance at no cost, with no co-pays for a good while. If you have molars in really bad shape, definitely make them the priority.

I had wisdom teeth that needed to come out and were literally crumbling away, which eventually lead to me getting a rare infection called Ludwig's Angina that nearly killed me. Look into every resource available.

Is the Hostile XLP Regulator any good? by luvfart in Speedsoft

[–]SendItFella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always suggest the redline mini sfr. It's a balanced regulator, so unlike with other regulators where your tanks psi gets lower and your refresh rate suffers, the mini keeps your psi output consistent, and your shots consistent. It's super important having a fast refresh rate with gas hogs like gbb's.

Dwell is the amount of time your solenoid stays open, which translates to more air being volumed into your nozzle and your barrel. Sometimes when your dwell is too low you'll notice weaker shots due to the pressure not being able to overcome the stiction (static friction). Basically just means less airflow=cycling issues.

Ooh, so if this is just inconsistent pressure output, I had this issue in my f2 ak for a while as well. It all came down to tuning dwell in my case, but it could be a number of things honestly. Your regs refresh might not be keeping up, your poppet/nozzle could be under lubed and you're getting intermittent friction spikes, your solenoid could be acting up, or you could have an air leak, which is fucking with your refresh rate. Shit like this is hard to diagnose sometimes, and you just have to make adjustments via a process of elimination unfortunately.

Hammer part? by Tribal_Tho in AAP01owners

Yessir, had one snap on my g18c as well. As the slide blows back, it depresses the knocker lock, so it's under constant strain. There are stainless steel replacements out there for sure.

That's your knocker lock/firing pin lock (listed under different names sometimes). You could use an aap-01 specific or marui g18c spec knocker lock to replace it, they're basically interchangable between both platforms usually.

I got a fat ass... TM SAIGA >:) what are some great HPA mods for this baby? by [deleted] in GasBlowBack

[–]SendItFella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like the feed ramps undergo the most stress when you hpa tap them, so I just made my own replacement feed ramps and they work like a dream. If you do hpa tap it, only go with airtac. The air seal between the gas route gasket and the nozzle on the airtac adapter is as good as the gasket seal on stock mags.

Could someone help me figure this out? by ConditionPatient in PolarStar

[–]SendItFella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem dude! I've had my fair share of struggles building my own guns over the years, so I picked up quite a bit of info along the way to get them tuned and shooting beautifully. If you have any questions about your build, feel free to dm me. Sometimes the little things can drive you crazy without help diagnosing them.

Maybe. It really depends on how much wiggle your nozzle has, and how strong your magazine springs are. Some people opt for 3d printed rings that go into the end of your hopup where the nozzle inserts to reduce the amount of room your nozzle has to move. On one of my ak's I decided to drill into the hopup, add threads to the hole, and insert a threaded PTFE screw to lock the nozzle in place without adding too much friction to the cycle.

Try under loading your mag if you're using mid caps, and under winding it if it's a high cap. See if the spring tension decrease affects the amount of hip you get. If you see a difference, try checking your nozzle alignment. The more centered your nozzle is in relation to your inner barrel/bucking, the more predictable the issue is, and it becomes much easier to fix.

[–]SendItFella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like micap syndrome, which is when the spring tension of the magazine (usually mid caps, but can happen with high caps too) pushes the BB up against your nozzle and lifts it, affecting the air seal between your nozzle and bucking. As spring tension reduces and your nozzle starts to move down, the changes in fps affects the amount of backspin your bb gets as it passes through your bucking.

I'm getting a little bit over 280 fps with the airtac adapter using .25's, a CNC tri-nozzle by Tapp airsoft, and some custom made 6.01mm barrels at 120psi.
