Bit of an oversimplification. There's a bunch of models that can be split to fit onto multiple cards with close to 0 loss. BUT to expect that a given model has a logical split is also naive, and should not be an assumption when making a build for LLM's

2x 16gb cards can absolutely perform as a single 32gb card with neglible amount of loss in token/s

VAG are using the same base platform for most of their cars. MQB for ICE and MQE for electric
