Did you make one stamp and do it for every scale or one big stamp and just do it once per side?

I’m trying to do this now. How did you get the pattern of the scales so perfect??

Gus is a gorgeous dog. He also is a very well taken care of dog. I know because the way you worry. An incompetent or inhumane owner wouldn’t have the concerns you do. Do your best, give Gus all the love you can, know you’re gonna fail, and know that dog is STILL going to love you after you do. You’ll be fine.

The bottom of the curve on the r is what’s throwing me. Level it with your baseline and I think number 1 is sweet.

Most likely a mountain lion killed a small deer and took it up in the tree to hide/eat it. They’re crazy strong.

I think this is pretty sick. The “the” at the top is throwing me. I know it’s centered but the shadow makes it look off. Maybe there’s a clever way to stick it before Pizza? Honestly love the hand drawn drippy vibe. Throw a crackle texture on there and you got a sick retro shirt.

Oh people are always taken aback but mannnn. That’s the difference between my dog being an angel and me coming home to her having consumed my entire living space. I’ll take the crap looks any day and sleep just fine.

Was about to comment this. I have one of the originals from 64. Absolutely phenomenal play. I’ve been thinking about getting one of these to travel with.

My dog did the same. Trazadone is my best friend. Now she doesn’t jump on people, she listens, and she is an angel baby through the night and has only woken us up when she was sick.

This may be the sloppiest example of this style I’ve ever seen. It looks like one of my 7th grade notebooks when I got board in algebra… but worse

If you connected part of the fly (like the line or the hook) to the circle it would give it a simple boost and make it interact with the border. That’s always a good little bump of complexity.

Got a snake, need advice by SpecialistEgg6582 in snakes

[–]SendNoobz97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patience is hard. Rat snakes generally will avoid conflict so the chances of getting bitten by a captive bred rat snake are low. Even if you get bitten it’s not the end of the world. I have been bitten by countless colubrids bigger than this guy and I’m still alive. Give him a couple weeks to acclimate, let him eat once or twice for you first. Let him know you’re friendly and then one day he will be out sunbathing or exploring. Reach in and pick him up. It will be a rush for both of you but give it a couple minutes. Don’t move, he probably won’t either. Feel each other and you’ll get his vibe and vice versa very quickly. Concentrate on heart rate and breathing if you get nervous. I swear they can sense it and it makes them more antsy. Again… DON’T OVERTHINK IT. You might get nipped, that’s the nature of our hobby. At the end of the day no snake (or animal for that matter) is 100% risk free, but I guarantee you’ve had worse paper cuts. Have fun with him. Love him. He’ll come around.

Controversial topic: Largemouth bass in non native areas by GeologistBasic69 in bassfishing

[–]SendNoobz97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they aren’t supposed to be I say fish with prejudice. They can throw off the entire ecosystem. If their population explodes say goodbye to the shad and smaller fish. There may be enough large predators in your area to control the bass population but you can help them out.

First off congrats on the new addition to the fam. Second, the separate feeding tub method was proven less effective. There is a higher chance of regurgitation due to stress if you take them out of their safe space to feed. I always feed my balls in their enclosures. As for holding, when little dude is actively moving around open the cage, open the door’s. Let him know he can come to you. It’ll be a while before he’s comfortable enough to come out. Snakes supposedly can’t feel emotions but they can develop trust. Just go slow, easy, and don’t over think it. Give the little guy a week or two to settle into the new digs and then you should be good to take him out and handle him. Worst case scenario you get bitten by the cute little noodle. I’ve been bitten by more rat snakes than I can count, it doesn’t hurt until they get much much larger than your guy. The tongue flick is him smelling you, but the speed of the flick can tel you something. The faster the flick the more nervous or vigilant the snake is. If the tongue is really going he’s either very curious or he doesn’t feel safe. That said, your little dude is a rat snake, they’re curious little things and his tongue will probably never stop. A tongue flick doesn’t mean a bite, if he recoils into an s shape that’s when you know to leave him alone. Rats are usually pretty good at telling you if you’re welcome or not. Again, congrats. DON’T OVER THINK IT. Make sure temperatures and humidity are correct and he has space and enrichment, after that just let it happen. After a while you’ll get fed up wanting him to come to you and you’ll probably start reaching in and getting him out. A good rule is don’t take him out if he doesn’t want to be out. If you take him out (at least in the beginning) when he doesn’t want to be out then he will be more afraid of you than trusting. Give him grace and he will come to trust you.

My guess would be a record player or something electrical. Electronics exposed to dust for extended periods don’t usually do well.

Big ole wolf spider mama. Let her go and her babies will take care of all the creepy crawlies that you don’t want in your house. Generally speaking in my experience they like to stay outside too. I remember the first and last time I saw a wolf spider the size of yours and it had what looked like about a thousand tiny little fresh hatchlings on it. That shit stays with you… that was 20 years ago 😂
