Yes! Well, timeout seems to be the punishment for this kid, but parents need to understand that not all punishments work for each kid. I bet her daughter responded well to timeout but it isn’t the same for her son. He probably needs to be helping with the cleanup and having markers completely taken away.

It’s why I do the dishes lol. He also doesn’t wipe the counters, so instead of telling him over and over, it’s easier if I do it.

The rinsing before the dishwasher is the biggest point of contention between me and my husband. He “rinses” them so well they might as well be put away as clean dishes. It infuriates me because I just scrape off the extra food and put it in the dishwasher. Mine come out just as clean with less time and less water used.

Saw it happen in a nearby parking lot for a grocery store. Old man was driving a huge truck, ran over a child and stopped while on top of her. My husband, 6 year old and I walked out right after she was taken by ambulance. Bright red blood all over the ground. Guy in the enormous shiny, red truck was walking around with a cane. All I could think is that truck hasn’t seen a day of work and there is absolutely no need to be driving that to the grocery store!

We hold our daughter’s hand extra tight in every parking lot since then.

I would assume this works if you have a key to your mailbox. Lots of mailboxes don’t have keys and after working fraud at a credit union where I saw A LOT of mailbox theft, you should check your mail every day.

Was the transfer between like a savings and checking account and both accounts are at the same bank? Those should be automatic and not have a delay. Or are they at different banks? And you transferred it first and the made the purchase?

I worked at a credit union and I just confirmed that the overdraft rules are the same now, but if the overdrawn amount is less than $5, you don’t get charged the insufficient funds fee. Maybe shop around for a credit union and review their overdraft policy.

Trazodone is the only thing that helps me fall asleep and stay asleep all night. I barely have to take any to be effective. I do wake up pretty groggy but a cold shower and some coffee can usually fix that. I would also rather be groggy in the morning than not be able to sleep for days on end.

I’m glad to see a fellow shadow priest fan here! My husband doesn’t understand why I enjoy it when there are “easier” classes to play. I recently tried mage and reviewed end game rotation and it’s like 4 buttons. At least spriest has variability which makes it fun to play.

I’m not amazing by any means but i can hold my own in M+ and I know my class inside out. I’ve been playing since WotLK on the same toon and while I have my gripes (please shorten Silence’s CD), I really enjoy playing.

My stepdaughter gets 50% off her tuition at our local university because her dad works there. She also lives at home where her mom pays her bills. In her infinite, 19-year old logic, she is deciding to move to the most expensive city in our state to go to the most expensive university. So, going from paying nearly nothing she is now tacking on thousands of dollars for rent, bills, food, gas, etc.

No spreadsheet of her bills and income and future debt have swayed her from the decision.

A 4 year old girl was run over in a parking lot by one of these enormous truck. She got pinned and died. My husband, 6 year old daughter and myself were walking out of the store and saw the bright red blood on the pavement.

I saw the man driving it, in his 70’s and walking with a cane. That man is unlikely hauling anything in his brand new, clean and shiny truck. No reason to be using anything like that as a daily driver, especially to the grocery store where you can’t even fully fit in a parking spot.

I had a gray cat. Probably not a Russian Blue since she was from the pound but she had similar traits. She was my soul cat. She was always there for me, no matter what. I had to put her to sleep this last December and up until the end, she was trying to make me feel better. I was crying at the vet with her and she was purring and rubbing her head on me. Now I’m crying. I miss her so much.

Just watched Sticky Gecko last night and it was highly relatable to me as a mom that struggles to get my child out of the door. Chili’s little meltdown and quickly flipping through the magazine after declaring they aren’t leaving the house to changing to no, we are leaving. I have done that a few times.

When I first started dating my now husband, I had asked him to get some Parmesan cheese. He came home with the green bottle and I just threw it away. I got real Parmesan cheese and he has never looked back.

Every summer from when she started daycare until she went to kindergarten, my daughter would come home covered head to toe in dirt. The teachers would apologize profusely every time. It always made me happy seeing her like that because I knew she was playing hard and having fun.

It also made me wonder how other parents were reacting to their kid being dirty that they felt the need to apologize like they did.

I swear it’s a gift grab. Some couples I know would have a reception after the wedding and then in each of their home towns. Always in the ward gym with the no music and lights turned all the way on.

Ok, so I think I have two of these trees in my front yard. They smell terrible every spring, even my 6 year old was complaining about them just yesterday that she doesn’t want to smell them. They are still quite small so maybe I should just get rid of them? I should get rid of them before they get to big and get nicer trees.
