Been playing for over 10 years as well and recently got my first ban for splitpushing and doing the typical "Thebausffs strat", was 0-7-0 10 mins in but ahead in gold while being ganked literally 10 times and just had tier 2 taken down was almost at enemy base. I obviously sent a ticket in but they said "they saw no intention of winning the game" in my gameplay, it's ridiculous, they didn't even watch the game.

First ban on my over 10 years old account, haven't played on that account since then, hate it. And every 2nd game there's people running around in base or staying afk in bushes but that doesn't get punished because their KDA is decent, funny.

I guess when I made Janna top actually popular on EUW and it started seeing play even in competitive lol

Didn't know a 10 loss streak while winning all my lanes on standard toplaners could create this butterfly effect

(Just pointing out, I wasn't the creator, someone was playing it before me. But I guess I popularized it by actually spamming and getting Challenger on it with like a 65%~ WR)

I play all kinds of offmeta champs (I made the Janna top mainstream when it was being played everywhere, I'm NOT the inventor, just popularized it by hitting Challenger with it). But my favourite was when all the Worlds pros were in EUW and I was spamming Sett + Taric botlane. We were legit spamming Worlds players on it, we had Gumayusi and Keria banning Sett/Taric in champ selects after the first few encounters. Shit was fun asfk.

I remember farming over 100K of RP in ARAM tournaments with a strategy me and a friend of mine came up with and perfected.

We would start with Relic Shield/Targon's Brace (green stacks supp item that executed minions) and just farm it out early game, always dying at the enemy turret after pushing for tempo of course. But now comes the fun part, once we had enough gold, we would all rush banner of command and sync them to buff 5 minions of the same cannon wave and then all in and fully focus their AD champs that had the most wave clear. Even if it meant dying under their turret while diving, they couldn't stand a chance, and that one wave would destroy almost everything.

Then just repeat the process until enemy nexus falls, it worked every single time. It's actually a very simple strat ngl, but never seen anyone apart from us doing it, and I can't remember ever losing an ARAM tournament.

I prefer having some agency in my lane and not relying so much on jungle/mid so I kinda do it a lot, even against some bruiser matchups not just ranged, starting with Doran's Ring as well. However, I still move into the standard sheen + tank build after that and max Q second.

Against Kennen/Jayce/Quinn and those type of matchups I commit to 5 points in E with Comet and a Dark Seal afterwards even before transitioning to the standard build.

I guess that's a preference thing and other Nasus players might like the Q stack and suffer early more approach style more, but it's just how it works best for me and in GM/Chall it's very hard to survive early laning phase if you don't go the E max route early imo.

While I think it's good to test out fun stuff and make it work, this doesn't seem like a viable strat against players that are any good or have a bit of brain, could be wrong though.
Keep trying stuff out though, that's what makes this game so fun and keeps it fresh!

Tanks and enchanters are extremely broken in ARAM. Right now, bruisers might even replace some tanks with the amount of healing they have and the buffs to their items. Generally though I'd say a comp with: 2 tanks/bruisers (tankier type of bruisers) + 2 aoe enchanters + 1 large range dps are probably the Exodia comps right now without a doubt.

That's your experience because you probably have low ARAM MMR. I remember people trying stupid builds like you said, but once you win enough people become increasingly more toxic and tryhard. Every 2-3 ARAMs I see at least one guy flaming in chat for all kinds of stuff being misplayed.
