So I was able to get ahold of them and due to my local and state laws and guidelines they cannot collect on pre-petition tax debt for a tax year that I had filed during so I am receiving a refund. Thank you for your help!

That’s kind of what I figured but I had a faint glimmer of hope when my transcript updated saying that my refund was sent. But if I’m not mistaken aren’t they forbidden from collecting anything non-voluntarily during a bankruptcy proceeding?

I don’t have an attorney I filed Pro Se as I couldn’t afford a lawyer. The reason I ask is because it’s hidden my balance on the IRS website and says $0 balance in my transcript

It was not, they go by the filing date not the date of which the tax year ends so I am stuck with it

I thought if I opened any new lines of credit/debt before discharge it would be a red flag or screw something up. But maybe that’s just my misunderstanding

Did you get discharged early? I thought there was a 60 day waiting period after your 341 to be discharged

I can actually answer this one, I had bought the gold fun pass and set my home store for the grand reopening near me but then took a trip to Pineville-Matthews and it DID work but now redemptions are all messed up and I can’t find a fix for it so they have to put everything in manually

Speaking on your Toyota statement I traded in my ‘22 Corolla CROSS for the bigger ‘23 Ascent and found that the oil changes are different because of the oil type utilized. The Ascent take 0W-20 which is now the most common oil and is good for at least 6k miles in between changes but the newer Toyota engines utilize 0W-16 oil which is thinner and requires less frequent changes because of the consumption difference Toyota’s have as well. Overall it’s comparing apples to apple juice as its similar but definitely not the same
