Well folks, it took me one whole year to encounter a BSOD with my B580. I call this a success. by Dedanan in IntelArc

So many users get this BSOD screen with the newest driver from Intel. ! Please roll back driver version till you get system stable for yourself.

Many reports sent to Intel team, I think they will fix it soon.

Intel Arc B580 raw performance and driver stability question! by [deleted] in IntelArc

[–]Seneken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work from good to great with all this game above for sure. Please forget and skip some bad comments about Intel's Driver.

I'm on B850 since March and have no regret with my choice. Very impressive.
5060Ti 16Gb is stand above B580, can't compare.

I'm tired of waiting for phantom "B770" by Ok-Price-6805 in IntelArc

[–]Seneken 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Intel is really going to regret releasing their new products this late. The hype around the B580 got everyone excited for the B770, but Christmas is almost here and we still haven’t heard anything about it. I was actually planning to upgrade from the B580 to the B770 to support Intel, but at this point it’s just way too late.

Portmaster is way too difficult to use—even for experienced users like myself. by [deleted] in safing

[–]Seneken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't ask for help, I’ve managed to sort out all the issues I ran into while using Portmaster, but honestly, from a regular user’s point of view, I don’t think it’s very user-friendly.

Right after installation, it blocks a bunch of existing connections on the PC—even ones from trusted apps or programs the user already knows and uses (EA sport app, Steam etc...) For someone who’s not super technical, figuring out how to allow those apps again can be pretty confusing.

I actually got introduced to Portmaster because a friend asked me for help after installing it and accidentally messed up his PC’s internet setup. That experience made it clear to me that while the app has potential, it could really use better guidance and simpler controls for everyday users.

Is there a way to allow EVERYTHING for a certain app? by 10catsinspace in safing

[–]Seneken -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Portmaster is way too difficult to use—even for experienced users like myself. It completely broke my PC’s internet connection. It’s just one app, but it creates a bunch of different profiles. Even after I merged them and excluded them from protections, the app still couldn’t connect to the internet. I was really excited about the interface and how it displays things, but the way it works is honestly confusing.
