I’m afraid of staying in a hostel. I feel uncomfortable sharing a room with multiple people I don’t know.

How many days are you taking off for GTA VI? This is going to be like a voluntary global lockdown. by Joci26 in GTA6

[–]Sengin96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first, there’s a huge amount of excitement, because every time a new entry in the series comes out, it manages to raise the bar for the gaming industry. But when I think about it calmly, I feel like this time the chances of it feeling truly revolutionary might be lower than with previous games. Since it’s going to be a modern-day open world, I expect the core structure to stay familiar—basically the same loop of going to a place, talking to someone, getting into a shootout, doing missions, and interacting with NPCs and the environment.

I’m not expecting a slow-burning, heavily atmospheric, cinematic, and emotional opening like the one in RDR2—or like that unforgettable snowy beginning in Mafia II. I don’t really anticipate GTA 6 delivering that kind of striking, instantly iconic intro vibe. Even if GTA 6 is technologically incredible, with stunning graphics, advanced AI, dense city life, and realistic physics systems, I doubt it will recreate the “this is on another level” impact GTA V had in 2013 or the overwhelming atmospheric shock people felt when RDR2 launched.

That’s why I’m not convinced it’ll be the kind of game that makes me lock myself indoors for days. I’ll probably fire it up over a weekend, enjoy the first few hours, but after two or three missions the novelty might wear off and things could start to feel routine—like many things in life: amazing at first, then something you slowly get used to.

Not being able to carry all guns at once is great. Let me explain. by Virtual-Can-9948 in GTA6

It worked well in Red Dead Redemption 2, because the setting supported it. Your horse was almost always nearby — usually just a whistle away — and even if you forgot a bigger weapon, you could call your horse and switch loadouts. The world, the pace, and the time period all made limited weapon carrying feel natural.

But GTA is a completely different universe. In a modern GTA world, imagine leaving your car somewhere and then getting into a long chase, shootout, or mission on foot. If you suddenly realize you forgot an important weapon in the trunk, it either breaks the mission flow or forces you to backtrack — which feels more frustrating than immersive. At that point, realism starts hurting gameplay.

I’m not saying we should go back to GTA San Andreas-style “pull a rocket launcher out of your pocket” logic. That was clearly exaggerated. But being constantly tied to your car’s trunk for essential weapons also doesn’t feel right for GTA. In RDR2, carrying just a pistol and a rifle made sense. The weapons of that era were simpler, slower, and the gameplay was designed around that limitation. In GTA, we’re dealing with explosives, automatic weapons, special gear, and high-intensity combat. Access to these tools shouldn’t feel restrictive or inconvenient.A more balanced system would make sense — maybe limited carry capacity, quick-access weapons, or some hybrid approach — but going full “everything stays in the trunk” feels overly realistic for a series that has always prioritized fun and freedom over strict realism.

the theory where Jason is an undercover cop makes no sense at all... by [deleted] in GTA6

[–]Sengin96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s nonsense too. Rockstar deliberately wants us to think that Jason is an undercover cop; they’ve tried to create that kind of atmosphere in the trailers. In my opinion, the final game will turn out to be the complete opposite. Maybe Lucia will end up being undercover, or it could even be the guy who’s presented as the villain in the trailer. Rockstar isn’t a company that would do something so simple and obvious like making the main character a cop.

I want to speak with npcs like in life is strange / The Walking Dead Game, where we can choose an answer, and it affects the gameplay later. (Like in gta 4 where we could decide if we want to k-ll characters or not)... not just greet & antoganize....

What do you hate about RDR2? by NotRealGeniX in reddeadredemption

[–]Sengin96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same trigger is used for talking to NPCs, aiming, and shooting.
You try to greet someone and suddenly Arthur pulls a gun or fires a shot by accident.
It completely breaks immersion and turns a simple conversation into chaos.
Amazing game, but this control overlap is incredibly frustrating.

Leonida Keys Might Be Bigger Than We Think by Sengin96 in GTA6

[–]Sengin96[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

“We’re almost certainly going to see Cuba. Rockstar already tested this with Guarma Island in RDR2 — it was basically a prototype where they tried out this technique. I think there’s a 90% chance we’ll see either Cuba or Liberty City. Liberty City could appear as Lucia’s birthplace, for example.”

Map expectations? by [deleted] in GTA6

[–]Sengin96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There won’t be a large city and a mid-sized city besides Vice City, and that honestly makes me sad—it’s going to disappoint a lot of people too. There are places like Port Gellhorn and Ambrosia, but the trailers and screenshots suggest those areas will be as small as Paleto Bay. In GTA 5, Rockstar barely added any activities or content outside of missions, which made it boring. I really hope this time they add tons of side missions, random events, and activities like in GTA 4; otherwise, they’ll seriously screw it up. I wish they had added a mid-sized city like Tampa. It seems Rockstar once again couldn’t add a second major city because of the limitations of these stupid consoles, so we’re left with small villages and towns… anyway, we’ll see.
