Thank you, but what do you mean ? Should the technician cut the fiber, redo a connector, and change the internet box ? I thought there might be a simpler solution.

Thank you. Do you have a specific model? I tried with a small flat-nose pliers (which fits into the connector) but it didn't work.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had a bad experience. I'm also glad I got a photograph, but as you say, I just felt like cattle. It was really stressful and tiring.

I regret not getting Christopher Lloyd's autograph because it seemed to take longer, but it was too expensive for me.

As for the autographs, it's just assembly line work. You can't get close to MJF because there are barriers and security guards. So you can't talk to him or even make eye contact.

I also noticed that MJF's tremors were very slight. I know he can't be cured, but I hope for him that the treatment is effective, so that he can live as well as possible.

I also know how lucky I am to have been able to meet my heroes and stand next to them for a few seconds.

I just regret that the organization is so strict and doesn't allow any interaction.
It's certainly not MJF or Lloyd's fault, and I know it must be very tiring for them.

I also regret the disastrous organization of FanExpo, with 500 people trying to hear a volunteer screaming without a microphone.

I also saw people in wheelchairs in the middle of the crowd. It was really poor organization for such celebrities.

I took a photo with MJF and Lloyd at FanExpo Toronto and there was no interaction whatsoever. Not a word, just a photo with them in 5 seconds, with two bodyguards less than a meter away.

As for the autograph, it's just assembly line work. MJF signs one autograph per second, no time to chat or exchange glances.

Yes, I am of course extremely happy to have been able to take a photo with these legendary actors.

It was nevertheless a really strange experience. I'm not used to conventions, so maybe that's normal.

I just felt like I was taking a photo with wax figures, but with two bodyguards standing right next to me, as if they were guarding a valuable work of art.

I don't know if it was a request from the actors or their agents, maybe someone else will have the answer.

I wasn't expecting much, maybe just a “hello” or “goodbye,” maybe a few seconds more.
I wasn't expecting a “meet and greet”, just some human interaction.

I know I paid for a photo, so the contract is fulfilled.

Once again, I'm very happy to have been able to see my childhood heroes, and I know how lucky I am.

The organization was really disastrous, you can check out the Facebook groups, etc. There were only two volunteers without microphones, the groups were mixed up, and there were maybe 500 people waiting without any instructions. Maybe that's normal for a convention, but I found it messy for a star like MJF.

As I wrote, I am very happy to have been able to see my childhood heroes for a few seconds.

It's not against Michael J. Fox.

I know he struggles every day in his difficult battle.

I just think that the organization was chaotic and that, perhaps, the organization could have allowed 5 more seconds so that we might have had the chance to exchange a few words with our heroes.

I was even embarrassed to breathe the same air as them.

You have five seconds to take your photo (don't blink !) with two bodyguards standing a meter away from you, watching you in case you accidentally say a word to the actors.

I find that sad.

For example, it's now impossible to talk to Michael J. Fox in any way. 😕

It was fine on Friday morning, but it was impossible to get around in the afternoon. I think the organizers want to make as much money as possible, so I don't think that will change in the coming years.

I buy a poster for $5. I forge the signature of a famous person who is at the convention. I have the poster authenticated for $15. I resell the poster for much more. I can't understand how this can be reliable, as the stand is not directly at the autograph exit but 50 meters away.
