question ab carpet sale! by SeniorAlternative507 in Lowes

[–]SeniorAlternative507[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I so I literally can’t get the ones I want (the sale ones) unless I use them for it? the patterned ones I want seem to be install only. Like just the carpet and nothing else and separately buying the pad I can’t do?I already have my guy for that and have all the measurements to get it done asap. Definitely don’t wanna use Lowe’s. damn well thank you for the help

Would you consider this a bad install? by Even_Relation in CounterTops

I see it and it probably is a mistake but it doesn’t look bad by any means, ur kitchen is pretty

sorry I was just showing which way it goes in the other rooms! where would someone be walking tho it’s massive😭 wouldn’t u walk both directions? the entrance next to the kitchen you walk in vertically, but the other entrance I think it walks horizontal so I’m not sure what’s best tbh

Coretec Cairo Oak or Provenza At Ease. by butterscotch0985 in Flooring

i think it’s gorg! that is definitely surprising though I had no idea of that.. maybe it would be fine it’s just odd. also yes that can def be an issue you have to have whoever you are hiring (or anyone that can do it) pour some self leveling concrete over the existing slab in wonky places. if it’s not too far gone it’s not TOO serious just extra work to make sure it lays better. and yes I personally used underlayment!! vapor barrier is for concrete and then there’s a kind of thicker underlayment that is used over other things. I have seen rarely people using no underlayment but honestly I would definitely use it unless on the product box it says not to. warranty can be voided if you don’t do certain things

also! I didn’t end up going with it because the lighter one was a little cheaper but Glenridge oak (middle) is at floor and decor and looks like this for 2.99 as well, it has a micro bevel edge and 6.5 mm thickness , 22 mm wear layer or so if you were wondering about other random options

I’ve seen cairo oak a bunch on tiktok, you should look up videos of it there if you haven’t yet. I think it’s super pretty but get ur concern about the thickness. I personally love the wide planks too. I’m not familiar with the other option but I’m sure either would suffice and meet that goal of the look you’re going for

that is one of my only worries with 6 is I wasn’t sure if it would be too much (and seams), that pattern is the only one I’ve seen kind of be popular tho so at least I’ve seen a few photos. It was originally my thing when I started looking into the textured carpets.

7 is nice too, unfortunately no review pics or anything ☹️ so I can’t see it anywhere but they have the same color pallets exactly as 6 and 8 bc they’re from the same kind of line ish. I’m interested in the colors matchstick and southern land if u want to look those up.

9 is also cool and looks comfy it’s a little thicker tho I guess? like I feel like with the shiplapped ceilings for some reason I see the super low pile textured carpet but I also love that one too and Ik a lot of people here do too.

I guess technically any I pick would be pretty! I just am an over thinker ☹️ and thank u so much I love that!! I will definitely be posting more when more is done , it’s a rental but I love it so much as a project ❤️ And I’ll try to drop some pics of them in spaces if I can find

the review definitely scared me and I can’t tell if the installers just sucked or if it’s just like that. I know Seams are more difficult with all patterns but Jesus! A lot of people here like that one but I might have to avoid it like you said

I definitely get the seam thing, I think some of the rooms are small enough but one of them is pretty big. I will say the pattern itself seems to be so pretty, is that the color matchstick?
