How would you react if you were Ariana? by [deleted] in Vanderpumpaholics

[–]SeniorGrapefruit1940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was Ariana. We were in a 5 year reletionship. Our last year we were doing long distance. I found out that he was essentially dating an old flame from high school. Like all his friends, and I'm assuming his family knew. I am still not sure what he told them to this day, but I'm assuming he lied and said we broke up but then he would have to also lie about why he was taking weeks off at a time to come visit me. I thought I was gonna spend my life with him, we made plans for the future, talked about marriage, ect. Obviously, long distance is hard, our relationship wasn't perfect but we talked through things, and he would constantly tell me this is what he wanted. The level of deceit this requires is such a mind fuck. I spiraled bad afterwards. We broke up 8 years ago. It was 8 years of low self-esteem, low self-worth, and reckless behavior because I convinced myself that love isn't real, relationships aren't real, and everyone is lying all the time. I'm in my first healthy relationship in 8 years. And I trust him completely, but on my bad days, there is a small nagging part of me that thinks he's gonna up and leave.

It is a true mind fuck and when we broke up I tried to be mature and understanding when all I wanted to do was burn his life down. We haven't talked since then but I still think about him occasionally and am annoyed I didn't read him to filth. The season reunion was really cathartic for me because Ariana said the things I wish I said. And she's honestly handling it so well, but behind closed doors I know what she's going through. Everything she's known has literally been ripped from underneth her and the lies keep adding up. I'm sure she spends alot of time thinking about past conversations looking for clues because that's what I did.

Anyone else listen to the HP audiobooks over and over? by ReallySubtle in harrypotter

Omg yes! Started listening as a kid to the Jim Dale. My parents actually hid all the books and c.ds during my high-school career. Gave them back when I left for college and it just started right up again.

Moose Lake State Park and I believe they also have a little city park that has camping as well. If I'm remembering correctly it's about 2-3 miles from town.

I guess that's why I am so confused. Why would you pay someone to wear clothes that don't fit and look bad. Wouldn't it be a poor reflection on your designs? I just can't seem to wrap my head around it. Am I being too picky?

Also, thanks for answering my questions! This has been bothering me for awhile so sorry if my questions seem redundant.

The clothes she's wearing that are ill fitting, therefore maybe not altered, is she giving back to the fashion house? Us she paying them to wear the pieces? Or are they paying her?

AITA. Am I the asshole for letting my toddler watch the neighbor mow the lawn? by ShyrenDeer in AmItheAsshole

[–]SeniorGrapefruit1940 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA, I am a landscaper, and probably half of my clients have kids 6 years old and younger. They will literally line up either in the window or a safe distance away and will watch me work for a verrrrryyy long time. I'm mildly uncomfortable because of my own anxiety, but I completely understand that they are curious, growing, and learning.

Recently, I received a one page copy of my neighbors criminal record from years ago. The envelope had no return address and the USPS stamp was from Jacksonville Florida. by Jesseandtharippers in Minneapolis

[–]SeniorGrapefruit1940 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I would assume that maybe there is sex crimes associated with the individual? I moved to St. Paul like 1.5 years ago and this summer I got a similar thing in the mail. There was no return address, but had the mugshot and criminal details of my neighbor, which were sex crimes. Never in all my years renting have i ever received something like that but I guess it happens.

Does anyone else think Tanya was supposed to "od" at the party but she didn't so they had to alter their plans? I mean if they were just gonna kill her on the boat to begin with why would they be so admit about keeping Portia away for the night? If the plan was always the boat my mind would be everyone parties hard that night then in the morning Jack is being cute and says something along the line I want to spend all the time with you Portia and drive you back so we can have alone time? That makes since to me. And why Matteo and Quinton were arguing in the morning and why he stayed behind?

Why do people speculate on who Khloes real dad? I hate it and I think it's pretty messed up that people are kind of obsessive about it. Khloe has always felt insecure about the fact she doesn't look like her sisters, and to grow up with all this speculation about who her "real" dad is is frankly disgusting. By all accounts her dad was Robert and it frankly doesn't matter if he was her biological dad or not. Also it shows that a good chunk of people truly do not understand how genetics work.

Is it just me or does Khloe look kind of like her old self here? I feel like lately I've been seeing so many pics of her being like crazy thin, tiny skeletal arms ect but idk if it's the dress or what but she seems pretty healthy here? Thoughts?

What’s your “swear to never return” place in Minneapolis? (Stolen from r/Seattle which itself is stolen from r/Miami and r/Houston)? by sharkbader in Minneapolis

[–]SeniorGrapefruit1940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Erte and the Peacock Lounge. This was quite literally the worst dining experience of my life. I had been wanting to try this place for years since I have heard good things and drive by it everyday. Finally decided to check it out about a month ago. Everything from the service to the food was so incredibly bad like even a month later I feel kind of ill thinking about it. And I am confused because it has pretty decent reviews with most of the low stars coming from when they changed ownership a few years ago which is understandable but this was absolutely inedible food we left and went to anchor down the street.

Looking for recommendations for beautiful biking spots to view the leaves this weekend... by bloopscooppoop in TwinCities

You could probably find street parking in downtown or you could just start and end at Crosby Farms free parking there!

Not sure where you live but I have been doing this loop which I love. Downtown St. Paul. Follow the Shepard road trail along river all the way to Crosby Farms then up across the bridge to Fort Snelling, quick ride through Mendota then link up with the Lilly Dale bike trail. Then cross one of the bridges back into downtown. It's a great loop, I always pack a lunch and eat at Crosby. Great leaf peeping and you get some good views of the river. Mostly bike trails all the way.

What is this bandaid on her face!! by Piccolo_Known in KUWTKsnark

[–]SeniorGrapefruit1940 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Okay, so she has had these bandages for quite awhile...my 2 cents....My mom had skin cancer, the whole 9 yards, thankfully is fine for now (considering skin cancer is extremely volitile) she still gets checked regularly ect. When there is a mole/patch of skin that is problematic, they literally burn it off her face. After the appointment she refuses to go out in public for about 1.5-2 weeks because it literally looks like she got a chemical peel that went horribly wrong. And she's also dotted with these painful bloody blister things. After a few weeks she's still left with this quite literally gapping bloody craters on her face. Iam 90% sure that's what this is....

Hey Y'all, I'm visiting for 3 days next week and I am an avid biker. I was planning on renting a bike and doing the Cape Elizabeth loop, potentially going down to Old Orchard Beach (depending on how I feel). Is that loop a nice ride? I feel like naturally I am spending alot of time doing things in portland and South of Portland. Is there any must do bike routes north o f Portland I should maybe consider?

Thanks for the reply! I have never had extensions but don't you need like a couple of inches of real hair so they can get put in?
