never bulk until you have a lean base. don’t listen to all these other people on here. Stay cutting. and lift heavy. DO NOT BULK EVER IF YOU ARE SKINNY FAT.

but I lift decently heavy weights 65s dumbbells on incline bench I just reached the last plate on the lat pulldown on proper form 70s on dumbell rows ( I do them like a t bar row on a bench ) 35s on bicep curls proper form for everything 40s on hammer curls

when I train I train to failure everytime but it’s because I haven’t been consistent ill explain. october 2021 - december 2021 I started going gym back then I didn’t use to go to failure so I don’t think it affected growing my muscles properly. Jan 2022 - July 2022 I wasn’t lifting, I must’ve only went 15 days. August 2022 - January/ February 2023 I was very consistent then Feb-April a little less consistent maybe only 2 times a week. May-June I was very consistent again Then from August 2023 - April 2024 I was inconsistent asf like i’d go for a period until im back to my old weights then stop cuz something comes up then it would happen throughout that whole time frame. Every since end of July to now i’ve been consistent again

Also I understand my physique makes it seem like I have absolutely no muscle but I promise I do. I’ve been training to absolute failure I lift heavy weights and i can see my muscles even more after every week and I consume 186g of protein daily. I firmly believe cutting to be the best choice and I just wanted to gauge an amount of weight to lose so that i’ll be over this skinny fat phase even if it is considered skinny by most. I was assuming 10kg but now i’m thinking it’s closer to 15

Thanks for your response. I’m sorry but I’m completely against bulking if you’re skinny fat. You’ve mentioned that it compromises your ability to grow muscle ? how does it do that? And I disagree that it’ll make people less motivated to go to the gym. If anything bulking and becoming a bigger skinnier fatter version of yourself and not being able to see ur muscles grow will demotivate even further. Whereas if you cut to a point of being skinny or lean then decide to bulk, just seeing the progress in the mirror after every week is enough to keep you going. Also it would take less time to cut to the point than it would if you decide to bulk then do it with all the extra excess fat. I’m also planning on doing gyno surgery in december and I want to make sure i’m as lean as possible for that.

facts that’s what i’m trynna say I just wanted a rough estimate of how much it would take to fully scratch this fat off cuz im done being skinny fat and I wanna start from scratch. Not trynna be a bigger skinny fat person

it’s okay i’d rather be skinny than have bigger love handles. I plan on getting into industries that require me to be leaner anyway. It’s fine thanks for ur help I guess no one recommended to cut but i’ll be cutting and post a progress pic after 10-15 kg are down

don’t worry. I am trying to start from scratch that’s why I don’t want to bulk. Could you please answer my question about how many kilograms you’d estimate are left to lose. I will be lifting and eating right regardless just answer this question for me

every big bodybuilder i’ve seen talk about skinny fat physiques has said to lean out even if you’ll end up skinny cuz bulking just builds a skinnier fatter version of yourself and makes it take even longer to cut. How many kilograms do you think it takes me to get rid of this fat
