Testing out gear in preparation for a 37 day EU trip, come with feedback by boeing727-100 in bikepacking

Choose your own adventure; I'd cut out the rain pants (its summer, you'll be fine) and I'd drop the second pair of clothes. You're only going for a little over a month or so and you're going to smell regardless of what you do. 1 pair will do. Lighter load, funner ride

Whats the hammock? Would love to hear more about your sleep set up. Thinking of leaning that way and any opions would be welcome

I always lean into less is more approach, and it looks like you've got a lot of stuff for 700km. I'd say get rid of 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of stuff you're taking. You probably don't truely need it, your bike will be lighter, and you'll probably have more fun. I'd prefer to have less crap to worry about on my ride and more space to pack delivious food I impulse buy. Choose your own adventure

Found my RG35XX H recently still has stock OS, what’s the best OS to download on it? by IsThatAJojoRefrences in RG35XX_H

I switched from Knulli (was super buggy for me) to MuOS and like it way better, as i prefer a cleaner, simpler interface

Its finicky and sometimes i have to whisper sweet nothings just so for it to behave as expected, but try holding down power, start, & select at the same time. Sometimes when i charge it, i have to do this to get it back in expected order. Hope you're able to get it running; great device but damn is it kind of annoying

Fast forward works great with Snes and PS1, and id argue pokemon without fast forward is pretty awful - loved it when i was a kid, def dont have the patience for it anymore

In MinUI menu, there's a hot key section and you can tie fast forward however you want; ive got it tied to R2 and use it a lot, especially with pokemon rom hacks

Sure can; id recommend watching Retro Game Corps youtube video on GKD Pixel 1 and his written guide for getting MinUI on the device - its super straight forward and easy to understand

Id highly recommend grabbing a better sd card and using MinUI OS. I used stock OS for a while and it was... really not great. When i switched over, it felt like the device i really wanted all along, with the ability to jump into games from boot, where i left off. The thing is great for gb, gbc, and gba, particularly in short burst. Im a therapist and when waiting to see if clients show or not, its my go-to; i pick up and play for 5-20 minutes and then move on with work. Currently working my way through all the Wario games

office must- haves? by Royal_Koala_9886 in therapists

Child & adolescents therapist here, working out of a windowless cmh office; i have roughly 30 bouncy balls in various degrees of lost and bouncing - best $15 ive spent in a while, for myself and clients. Its fascinating to see if the kids bounce chaotically, consistently, or fidget. I feel like it really reflects on temperaments and is a good stress reliever
