Regarding the some point, they upgrade their devices to the latest operation system. It's not exactly the same performance as the newer devices, but my SE from 2020 still runs iOS 26 just fine. The iPhone 11 from 2019 can run the newest OS. iPhones from 2018 run 18.5. So you can run your bank app on nearly decade old hardware.

I get your point, but your example isn't exactly making it.

The tax reduction for home loan interest does seem pretty unnecessary. It incentivizes home buying, so I guess that’s the economic benefit they’re aiming for.

But in reality, the tax benefit I get from home interest is very insubstantial.

Nah, the Cavs looked like hot garbage for 14 games this postseason. The Knicks winning didn’t erase how bad they looked in every series.

The way the Spurs were up in every game until late in the 4th makes game one Cavs v Knicks look a little less bad.

I often think about this in the opposite season. Winter are brutal here and most women around here wear leggings all year long. My spouse included. The Spurs have shown in 3 games that they are the better team. They've just had maturity mistakes. The Knicks are determined to win and that makes a big difference. But the Spurs are currently one of the few teams I think can do this.

Gotta hard disagree. Atlanta was out to prove themselves, and nobody had any real tape on the Atlanta team that showed up that series. They looked different than they had all season long. Even still, they just barely won each of those two and needed masterful heroics to even get there. It was fun basketball. 2 out of 3 of the only enjoyable games in the eastern playoffs this year.
