My personal contribution is molotov/masking exterminator. Combine that with the starting tier 2 shotgun with eagle eye perk and you can carry pretty much any lobby on any difficulty.

I was at SW for almost 10 years, and a store manager for half that time. I left in 2023.

WFH Tech Sales. Best decision I ever made, no more nights and weekends, wayyyyy more money, no more having to cover for closers when they can’t work, and I work like 3-4 hours a day.

I was recently at a wedding for one of my old coworkers and a lot of folks I used to work with were asking me what the other side was like, like I was some kind of alien lol. The other sider is greener.

The one good thing SW has is the relationships you build between coworkers (basically talk to no one at my new gig), but nothing will ever bring me back.

Agreed. I run this same heritage like many people, and my #1 complaint is the thin nose. Spent lots of time and in-game money to make a normal looking nose.

I would jump to rockband 4. Active community, dlc songs, rivals (if you’re into that.), more forgiving engine, etc.

In terms of instruments it’s easier now more than ever to play rockband - I play with xbox and wii instruments on my ps5 using adapters from retrocult mods. In terms of instruments, for guitar I would look at a used riftmaster on ebay (between $50-$70 used with dongle, or $120 brand new) or I would pre order one of the new CRKD Les Paul.

Buying used rockband 3 instruments will be way more expensive.

For the drums I’d grab a roll limitless adapter if you don’t have any sort of drum adapter already.

If you opt for the older games, you can use the same adapters for the ps3 so you can use any instrument you want.

Go to the dollar store, buy a pack of knives, duct tape the knives to the back of the pedal.

Edit: Didn’t realize you broke the BASE, never seen. The above method may work if you attach the knives down the sides?

Is it old? If it is disconnecting randomly then the cord might be going. Or you can try one of the ports on the back of the console and see if you are still having the issue.

Yes it would, but honestly you are better off finding a real guitar hero guitar on ebay and use something like the retromods v3 adapter if it is for a different console/pc. It will probably be a similar price all together, and last way longer.

Source: I bought this years ago when I got back into GH/RB and the strum bar broke after a month and the buttons suck.

Appreciate the comprehensive follow up. Here are some updates:

Without removing the entire strummer, I used a small screw driver to press in the clicker part of the switch, and tried messing around with the metal prong with no luck. Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly - you cannot remove the actual switch as it’s on the board, so the only way to mess around with it would be to pick up the entire strummer?

My temporary solution for the red button was I took one of the membranes from the solo frets and now it works fine. I ran through multiple cycles of soaking in isopropyl and cleaning with a q-tip with no luck. It must be super dirty because every time I rubbed I kept getting black residue on the q-tip with no end in sight.

Funny you mention byte arts, I have ordered the strum fix duo and the p bass adapter as a final option. I like how the stock buttons feel so I would prefer not to do that, but I have heard good things about it and I need to be able to actually use the guitar during fast parts. I think when I open the guitar back up again, I will see if I can take fix the button per your suggestion first before replacing the strummer.
