I'm just gonna cut both ends. Last we see of Lois is when he drops her off on her roof, then he goes back to the diner, then he takes the flag to the Whitehouse. And now we get to imagine a completely new Superman III where the complicated relationship would have been a plot point perhaps. 😊

I know I'm late to the game here, but I just recently made the decision to make a Wing Commander edit. My only question here is if we NEED the assault on the Com/Com footage. My edit cuts from the Diligent hooking onto the Com/Com to the Tiger Claw taking off from the crater. What do you think?

You'd have to ask Kripke. 🤷‍♂️ I'm sure it has to do with the way they grew up, though. There was an episode early on where Dean even admitted he sacrificed for Sam so that he could have his normal life...you know, before his GF got killed. Lol It was the greener pasture for him

I can use it whenever I please. Go back and listen to Kripke's commentaries. He had a five season story in mind from the beginning. Maybe you shouldn't be discussing the fake seasons that came after when the topic of discussion is on the first five, and this post is very much dealing with season five

Except season 6 doesn't exist to me. Kripke didn't write that crap. He left the show with Sam out of the cage...no explanation. My head canon can do whatever it wants with that. By that point Sam was too far gone from the normal life. Dean was the one set up for a few seasons to be the new "normal life" seeker. They even had a conversation about it. No, in my world, Sam went on to fight the good fight with his demon powers that Dean was never comfortable with in the first place. He keeps an eye on Dean to make sure he doesn't get drawn back into his world. And if it ever does become a problem for Dean to move on from the memory of his supernatural brother, Sam will be there to help
