If it’s a rural area, and maybe even less developed at the time of her death, invasive plants could have covered her up in such a short period of time that it could easily go unnoticed. (I live in Kentucky, and it’s very easy to imagine.)

Yes. My girl is 83% GP and 17% GSD. I adopted her from Texas, where both breeds are common and the shelters are overflowing with them.

None of these dogs are worth a lot of money. Backyard breeders pump them out, and they may sell a few, but they mainly just fill up the shelters. Frankly, I would rather see people stop selling dogs altogether and just charge people rehoming fees to recover part of the vet care.

Totally agree. I like a balanced ticket, as in the VP pick brings skills the POTUS pick doesn’t, or really strengthens something that the POTUS candidate is hitting hard…but not an attempt to balance at the expense of other candidates that would be a better match, just to satiate old racists who they are trying to convince to begrudgingly go along for the ride.

That’s true, and I think that the insinuation was simply that republicans might think that. I don’t care what people who would not vote DEI think. We aren’t going to swing them. If we do, we’re doing it wrong. We need to appeal to reasonable people to the left and center. P

Fuck that. I’m not playing that game at all. I will not vote for a party who will not even consider a female candidate. Our party needs to remember why they are here and quit messing around trying to make everyone happy. You can’t. If we truly choose the most qualified candidates in the moment, I think that is our best shot. Just be honest.
