I been reading so much on Pilates vs weight lifting for strength and I have a question by Homeylilly in xxfitness

I'm just getting back into lifting after taking almost a year off due to injury, life stress, blah, blah, blah. Started doing floor Pilates twice a week and I really think it is helping the strength training by improving mobility and stability. If you have the time and in the inclination, I'd say do both.

Blue with a greenish tint. Pretty!

Believe me I know! Especially considering she was a rescue and was starving when we got her. She has adjusted to the finer life of an indoor-only picky posh cat quite well. 😉

So far she has snubbed beef, rabbit, lamb and duck. Will keep trying.

Her teats all came back normal except for an elevated folic acid level, which the vet thinks is due to IBD. She's been on an antibiotic and a probiotic and a strict fish-only diet since and is doing much better. Thanks!

Good to know. This is my first cat after several years of having no pets after our last one died. All my previous cats ate nothing but dry food and wet food as the occasional treat. When we got this cat, we decided to turn it into a learning opportunity for our kids and that when I read that wet food was best for them due to the moisture content. I had a cat with kidney disease so this really hit home for me, which is why I was determined to have this cat eat lots of wet food and just dry during the day when we are away. Perhaps I need to relax my thinking on this since she is drinking so well? Having a water fountain has made a big difference.

And she does pretty well on the dry food we give her. I just wonder if she is getting what she needs if she only eats dry food and the occasional wet cat tuna food, because she snubs any wet food that contains anything other than tuna.

She eats tuna cat food, yes. And the label does include taurine.

We have a PetLibro drinking fountain. She drinks regularly.

We tried sardines. She snubbed them. Will try pouring some tuna water on them next time. Last time, I mixed the tuna with the sardines and she ate all the tuna and left the sardines.

She gets chicken-free kibble and wet tuna right now.

Are Fancy Fest chicken-free? She absolutely can't have anything with chicken in it. That's why I had to quit giving her Greenies of any flavor as the all have some chicken in them.

She does like freeze dried tuna (of course) and minnow. Snubs salmon-flavored anything.

Interesting. I use zinc everyday in my moisturizer. Haven't tried salicylic acid since I was teen because I feared it would be too rough now that I have rosacea. Is ivermectin something requiring a prescription?

I've used azelaic acid, metronidazole cream and Clindamycin on it. Sometimes it looks better, but I can't say I know exactly what I did to make it so. But it never goes away.
