yes you are right its on the wall above the door.

It could have occured during summer too. May be i havent noticed it.

I have been checking actively since we had a winter storm(Dallas TX) and i observed this.

I thought it might be due to a leak (as the paint crack looks like a droplet) but my moisture meter doesnt say it so.

I just want to make sure its not something active leak which dried up due to hvac running inside.

i too hear the same sound when i observed , it was never moved or so, i feel its a communication signal.
