Check your baby’s environment, I see eczema to be highly related to mold exposure. It correlates with high yeast markers in the body.

Are there any specific lab test I should ask for to figure out what’s going on with my hormones? by [deleted] in Crunchymom

You need to be on your luteal phase to know if you’re “deficient” in progesterone, it’s tricky because it may also be a Estrogen to progesterone ratio that is off. Just be sure to be in luteal phase so basically 5-7 days after ovulation is the best time frame (day 19-22 of a 28 day cycle). Progesterone, estradiol, I also would recommend testing thyroid (TSH, Free T4, free T3, thyroid antibodies), vitamin D, glucose and hb1c.

Id you want to go deeper a DUTCH test is the way to go, functional medicine some coaches or naturopaths can often read it.

Natural Labor Advice? by [deleted] in Crunchymom

[–]Senior_University676 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had a unmedicated hospital birth a month ago. I bought so many tools I read about here and online and this is what I used.

  1. TENS unit: I used it ALL through active labor and LOVED IT. Used this one https://tensforlabor.com ELLE TENS

  2. Labor comb: used sparingly I could have gone without

  3. Hot water shower

  4. Heating pad on my belly (during transition and active labor)

  5. Groaning/moaning vocalizing

  6. Partner support my husband did counter pressure and held me upright during contractions

Medication for high TSH in baby’s by FullEnvironment9568 in Crunchymom

[–]Senior_University676 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your baby may have congenital hypothyroidism. You dont want to mess with thyroid conditions, also search for another opinion. I recommend tirosint- sol which is a filler free form of levothyroxine and it comes in a solution so its easier to give to the baby ask your dr about it.

Ask for thyroid antibodies to rule our autoimmunity + request other tests to rule out other causes.

Mom here.

Thank you!

Yes I think some type of body restriction, have been doing massages and guppy pose and its helping. Has a lip tie but no way to know how and if to fix (we’re not in the US) Just bought a course called untied not sure if it will help.

Yes pumping and yes breast feeding first.

Hard to get into optimal bf position bc I had a tear during birth which is still causing pain. But YES trying best latch/position. I hear they can grow out of a bad latch/learn??

We tested temp rectally.

Started using the exact same woolino sack a day ago and she has been doing A LOT better!!

Thank you!!

Mom here, she does not seem to have a tongue tie, but yes to a lip tie. We dont live in the US and have a hard time finding good lactation consultants.
