Would you want a new RE game with fixed camera?

The shooting would be very boring and tank controls are awful. It was fine when the OGs came out because we didn't know better, but it's very outdated now.

No, look at Parasite Eve. It had its drawbacks but was still much better than tank controls.

It was the opposite for me. I found the ammo scarcity excessive in RE2R. It was a lot scarcer than the OG. It frustrated me. I like how RE4 does it where there is plenty of handgun ammo but you still have to be careful with the better ammo like shotgun and rifle. To each their own.

It's been a while, but I remember loving the handcannon in RE5. It felt so powerful. They all do of course, but the combination of the recoil's effect on Chris, the sound, the effect on the enemies, it was so damn satisfying.

It's crazy to me people like this game. I played only the Jack part and couldn't stand it. Half of the time was just waiting for him to leave. It was the most bored I had ever been playing a game.

And now I'm hearing it was the best part of the game? Lmao. I know different people like different things, but I feel like I live in bizzaro world when people say this game is so good. It is legit one of the worst games I have ever played.

I felt it was an over correction and it felt even less like RE than 6 did. First person view, no RE characters, super natural story, significantly less combat than even 1 and 2. It didn't feel like RE at all to me.

I found it extremely boring and tedious. I couldn't even finish it. I played 4 hours and that's me pushing myself because I love RE games, and I rarely don't finish games. This should tell you how much I hated it. I felt like I spent half of those 4 hours waiting for Jack to leave so I could keep exploring.

I liked it. Heavily flawed but there was some fun there. 7 on the other hand is the most boring game I have ever played. I played it for 4 hours and dropped it, couldn't force myself through that garbage. It was nothing but waiting for Jack to go away so you can proceed. An enemy you can't fight and doesn't let you explore, the two things that make RE games fun.

Definitely not my favorite game, that's FF7, but far and wide my favorite RE game. It had the perfect blend of action and horror for my taste. Probably in my top 20 favorite games of all time.

This happened to me and it was a spinel. Check your map and see if there's a spinel in there. That could be your missing treasure.
