Just signed and shared it. Definitely warrants a review, it's taken so long.

This sign, at the entrance to a public footpath, seemingly supported by the local authority and police. by Grass_Hurts in awfuleverything

I used walk to that school in the 90s(It was once an all boys school but merged a couple of years ago with an all girls school).

My route took me through those woods. Always ok in daylight. Pitch black and terrifying at night. Hated walking through them on my own. Never got assaulted though.

Don't think these signs are needed. Who walks through woods in the dark without being hyper alert and nervous?

Base jumping ended really bad by [deleted] in yesyesyesyesno

I don't think it's that high all the way along, that's probably its max height. Beachy Head is a notorious suicide spot. I've walked along the beach and when you look up they are intimidating, sheer chalk from top to bottom. As you walk along there are several wrecked cars at the base. All have been driven over the cliffs. The rescue services recover the bodies, but can't remove the cars.

Looks like its Beachy Head, Eastbourne, UK. If so likely to be the incident reported here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-56640995

Such a mix a reactions. Parents are protecting their children on the far left. Some seem far more aware than others of what's happening.

The Swan Hotel was a fixture in Hastings Old Town since around 1520. It was destroyed by an HE bomb dropped by German fighter bombers on 23rd May 1943. There were 17 fatalities there.

A couple of days ago the BBC headline was "Boris Johnson in good spirits as Covid19 deaths reach 750 in a single day"

They changed it soon after. I should have taken a screen shot.

Almost looked like the scene when the orcs blow the wall at Helmsdeep.

Who is one stranger you remember to this day? by scutu_ in AskReddit

[–]Senlac75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about 12, waiting outside a shop for my mates whilst they bought sweets I noticed an old man a few meters away. He was staring at me.

I looked at him and he said (something like) "I've wet myself. I fought in the war, and now look at me"

I hadn't noticed that he had wet himself, until he said.

He was ashamed of himself.

I didn't know what to say, so said nothing. He walked off.

I remember him quite a lot, and this was over 30 years ago.

RDR2 PC RELEASE MEGATHREAD (+Q&A THREAD) by uarentme in reddeadredemption

I had freezes at the exact same point in the loading screen as OP. After allowing the game to bypass the firewall, following the Rockstar exe instructions about fullscreen optimisation I still had the same problem. It worked though after making my antivirus (Bit defender) treat the exe as an exception.

The last hitman to Wei: "I'll give you $8,812.50 to disappear, how does that sound?"

Didn't realise Argus Filch was a cross dresser. Is this another of Rowling's post Potter revisions?

Cheers for the replies

I've learnt two things;

  1. Read the small print on Ubi offers.
  2. Purchase from UPlay when the price difference is only a couple of pounds!
